I currently play mulligan, but I'm working on the list right now. It was having a lot of trouble with dagon. So I'm just completely reworking it. It's definitely fun, but you're gonna have to really learn how to blacklist and mulligan to make it work.

When I first started playing my deck I would make the mistake of mulliganing Toruviel away, but then started keeping him in opening hands to buff him with dragoons and bait out stupidity with Isengrim + Morenn.

Playing Morenn is one of the most tense moments. You sit there praying they don't pass. Especially nervewracking if you're down points when you play her.

I like the non-dorf ST lists. They're usually a lot of fun. I've started making ST staples premium. So far I've got Isengrim, Aglais, Saesenthessis, Saskia, Zoltan Chivay, Yeavinn, Ele'yas, Ciaran, Aelirenn, Morenn, Toruviel, Braenn, Eithne, and Brouver done. I really want a premium Malena, but I don't think she'll see play until more movement cards put in, and even then probably not.

I would think Iorveth is most likely to get reworked. They probably won't consider it a nerf though since he's complete garbage right now. I went up against the ST Control mirror. Round 1 I won and we were both down to 0 cards. I dry pass round 2.

He plays Morenn, then Yaevin, hitting his own Yaevin and forcing himself to use the card he drew just to win round 2.

I go into round 3 with 3 cards to his 1 and he auto forfeits.

It was embarrassing and hilarious all at once.

To fix the game, solitaire tactics must be punishable, and player interaction rewarded. We need more cards that disrupt rowstacking (imagine, for example, a spy unit that resets itself at the end of every turn), endless boosting should have diminishing returns, spell immune units should be a thing, move mechanic must be explored further, graveyard interaction should be expanded. It seems obvious that playing solitaire should be risky and awkward, rather than the safest option possible.

I agree, same with weather. I quite liked the way the older system worked in which units had their own unique personalities and weaknesses. It used to be that being an agile unit was a bonus as opposed to it now feeling like making a unit non-agile is how you weaken it slightly.

Spare spies aren't the problem. Typically you run 3 emissaries, and 1 brigade whose job is to snipe an emissary and ideally get ressed by Assire and snipe Joachim. That leaves at least 2 more emissaries and however many you want to bring back with Vicovaros
