Is just that sometimes i wanna try something that the class im playing isnt capable of or join certain factions that i havent/wouldnt. Like i said i do like playing a generic warrior, being an imperial legion member in morrowind was the shit but i also feel nostalgic about being a thief in oblivion, it was the first faction questline i played and i wouldnt mind being a sneaky thief again. Question about Morrowind.

I like the game world and story, not so much a fan of the gameplay. Are there mods which make it a bit more like Skyrim/Oblivion? IE : Regenerating Magicka, enchanted weapons don't recharge automatically, attacks or spells won't fail, etc.?

Im an oblivion fag and im telling you, its not that hard as you think it is. You just have to find the class that works for you, for example, if you pick destruction magic its gonna be piss easy at early levels, if you go melee just get the right weapon and start smacking scribs to improve or hell, sell the DB loot and go to a trainer. If you absolutely cannot progress, then yeah you can try these two but i suggest you play the game as it is, trust me once you get a few levels and better gear its a piece of cake, especially if you play melee.

I recently made the mistake of installing two incompatible raven rock mods. It doubled the number of NPCs in raven rock. Then I had a mod that added even more NPCs to it. It was crowded as fuck. But holy shit it was comfy, to see Raven Rock be populated and not a ghost town.

I've always just used Dawn of Skyrim and that does a lot to spruce the place up. It's enough for me since any other population mods really just kill frames and don't add enough to make it worth it.

true. i personally like duel because i like grinding, but after awhile it becomes suffering esp. if you take on a fortress of bandits. UC seems like a much better option overall due to how much depth it adds to the combat, but its quite script heavy, not as bad as Sand of Time though. It's not the difficulty I'm speaking of, I just find that after playing Oblivion/Skyrim I find the gameplay lacking in Morrowind. I've beaten it before - a few times, including the DLC - but I find certain aspects of the gameplay less fun than Oblivion/Skyrim. Passive blocking, no magicka regen, and attacks failing due to stamina all detract from the gameplay more than they add to it.

Nah, it's not well documented. I had the same problem at first, but thankfully it's quite easy once someone shows you how.

Hit Shift-enter to pull up the ENB menu, then on the right-hand side click the + sign next to 'ENBEFFECT.FX' and there's a 'technique' dropdown.

I personally like the 'Cinema' LUT, but you should try them all out to pick the one you like.

The first one. Trillville is a really talented screenshotter and he's released a bunch of different shaders over the years for a few different scenes. A lot of ENB authors have used his stuff. Whenever I'm trying to make a game look good using ENB I mess around with things relating to his packs.

You shouldn't be limiting yourself like that. You can add in whatever LUT or whatever other shader to your base preset just fine. TV is weird in that it wasn't really a completed mod, just some random stuff the guy released(and he deleted the really old stuff to my dismay). If you look at his flickr gallery a lot of the images are very colorful, but most are pretty desaturated. I always increased the color myself because I like doing that. TV is used as a base for the clarity it usually gives.

And I'm not anything like your coworker, if I say something is bad it's because I like critiquing. But I can point out good things about things I don't like. I agree people that practice ignorant are annoying.

I didn't even know TV made that. I still use that thing when testing to see how ENB's bloom works for other games, compared to Skyrim. But it wasn't good for screenshots from my experience with it. Probably with proper tonemapping it would be though but I have always tried to use relatively weak presets that don't deviate too far from vanilla's aesthetic.

yeah neither did I, until I got my hands on the files. the palette is the same from all the other tv enbs, but what really got me was a post where he was describing how to make occlusion seem more detailed; he keeps it dark as hell and just cranks up the bloom.

but yeah, the tonemapping for the experimental bloom enb is extremely tricky, but then again, you like subtle enbs.

Your screenshot is very blurry just like everyone else but you can still make everything in the backgroun out. Even though it's blurred it's done tastefull. I like that shit, even though I'd prefer if people posted images with the focus of the screenshot looking nice and crisp.

I like ambient lighting more to create really dreamy lookin enbs, but i get the appeal of those sharper enbs.

most of these shots im posting is just me messing around with the preset and snappin shots in different locals to fine tune tonemapping/whatever else isnt looking right.
