Start of as blm sure, you can do nothing wrong starting out. Enjoy the game and take your time getting to cap. The main story should be enough to get your first class to 70+ so keep most of the sidequests (except the ones with blue icons and class quests) for another class you want to level. Enjoy anon!

For me it's M Au Ra > M Miqo'te = M Elezen > M Midlander

Yeah, you'll want those to be higher before you continue.

You can reset your run, and start over again at either floor 1 or floor 51. Floor 51-60 is the POTD that -everyone- does because its the best way to level, so you can reset, start 51-, do 51-60, reset, 51-60, reset, etc. etc.

You'll get more aetherpools this way.

Also be careful, POTD is like alcohol. Feels good but its bad for you, doesnt teach you how to play your class, etc. Make sure you do your Main Scenario Quests if you arent underleveld.

You keep your Weapon/Gear +/+ at all times, yeah. So reset progress and keep doing floor 51-60 until youre ready for 61+.

Even though DRG is trash youre still free to play it, the meta does not affect you unless youre in the top 5% hardcore raiders. They're also getting buffed on Tuesday.

If you need 7 levels, make sure you do your daily roulettes as well, once a day. Theyre the biggest bang for your buck.

I see why nobody likes tanking. Having gone from NIN to try DRK, when most things go wrong it is nearly all your fault. On the plus side, things like Trials seem much easier as a tank because you have more control over what goes on. Dungeons can be annoying as hell though, for multiple reasons. How do tank mains have fun at endgame?
