I think it has something to do with overheating or overloading. In my previous build, my SSD was choking pretty bad - for unknown reasons - so I decided to reinstall the whole OS. Now the SSD is not overloaded the whole time, and whaddaya know, the problems with OW have also disappeared!

So the GPU might not be the only culprit. Check your temps and loads to determine where the problem could lie.

The only way to keep games like Overwatch alive without shitting out a new game every year is sweeping meta changes but instead they say the meta is balanced and think in a way that their work is finished in that department? If they want longevity and a pro scene they need to be able to push and pull heroes from the meta... The biggest problem are people who are noobs that don't know what the fuck their characters are supposed to do. I've played multiple matches with soldiers and mccrees who had no idea they were supposed to deal with the pharah. She obliterated us and we lost. Several times.

Haven't played since before they added in the Moonbase map. Decided to poke around that before going back into competitive with a custom game and just Ana with headshots only, but it looks like another one of those 2CP maps where the last point is WAY to close to the defending team's spawn, making capturing it a clusterfuck.

Is it as bad as I'm seeing it, or is it actually a fun map, unlike the rest of the garbage 2CP maps?

Because if it were low gravity everywhere, the map would be a huge gimmick that no one could take seriously. It has barely any purpose at all and is downright stupid. Teasing something somewhat interesting and keeping it restricted to a incredibly small, linear section of the map is dumb. Either go full balls to the wall and make it an arena map for the secondary gamemode with low gravity or no low gravity at all. Arena mode is barely treated as serious as the regular "game mode" anyway, so a low gravity map would somewhat fit fine there.

In fact, shit, it SHOULD be an arena map. At least it'd be better than another worthless 2CP map that everyone would rather risk dropping out of than playing through.

Adding in the low gravity option's neat and all for custom games, but the map itself absolutely does not belong in the competitive map line up. It's complete trash and only adds to the chances of queuing up for comp and losing horribly because you got unlucky and got to play on an incredibly shit map, where the deciding outcome often boils down to luck alone to get a team kill just to capture the fucking point.

If defense matrix isn't nerfed, I'm not going to play anymore. Either a projectile limit per second is added, or recharge nerf, or cooldown nerf. No bargaining or compensation. Straight nerf.

It's up to much. It blocks at least 50-100x more damage, not exagerrating, than any other barrier ability and is stupidly easy to use. Deflect is almsot as bad, but it isn't up literally every second.

Dude, it's not even about it being to effective. Everything can be too effective in the right hands, even Symmetras autism shield. It's that defense matrix is annoying. It robs you of the impact your weapon makes. If you fire a gun - you expect your bullets to hit something. A wall, a dude, a barrier - something. Instead, they just vanish, leaving you with this awkward feeling like something is odd in this world. It's reinforced even more when you lose your ult because of it, since the voicelines are still played.

On top of regular throwers you get throwers who blame you, the entire team, healers, DPS, tanks. You get throwers that blame others for throwing. You get people that leave the game when you ask them if they'd like to play lucio. You also get utterly weird shit, like I had a Mei player who didn't stop playing porn audio into his microphone. Could've muted him, true, but that was too fucking weird to mute.
Pretty sure even in top-500 you still will encounter the same stuff, only with different colors.

Horizon doesn't improve anything in 2cp, except maybe for the first point, but it feels so lame to defend it, that they again did a very poor job of balancing stuff out.
It's the shittiest map so far, because on top of usual nonsense we get one year of active developement, that literally taught them NOTHING.

Pretty good one. Remember to also pull random callouts out of your ass, like "Let's go top" on Nepal:Village, without lucio, or "Let's go lower" on last point of Hanamura when the enemy has mccree. And if nothing works - never opt to switching, always find someone you think doesn't do their job, and put blame on them.
