Wo Dao Legendary tome + Moonbow is a good combination. She's the unit I'm looking to pull, she needs to have good res (between Nino and Julia) to be worth it though. If she does, however, she's going to be the chase unit by a lot.

I don't think we've talked enough about every sword unit getting a killing edge with more might than a wo dao.

The average defense of all units ingame currently is 26.50. Average boost of a moonbow is 7.95. Add 10 from wo dao for 17.95.
This will vary a little bit, probably upward, because those healers with 10 defense don't appear in Arena and some new modes inflate enemy stats a lot.

Suppose a unit wants the slayer sword instead. Suppose it's Draug, with 39 defense. And he wants Bonfire instead of Wo Dao Memebow. Same 2 cooldown, but with 19 damage. 22 if he has fortify armor. And every single attack will be doing 1 more than a wo dao would.

Selenafags might want this too, and same with Zephiel users who dislike the Eckesachs because apparently those exist, and Caeda pals but with iceberg instead of bonfire.
In any case, it remains that you have more consistent damage than moonbow if your defense is high enough.
I will add that certain matchups have more value than others, like "that mage was going to die anyway" and "he should never be fighting that armor" but they should be evened out by the "I can barely oneshot off that mage from full now" and "she now missed that kill on hector"
