Back in the first year of the game, story updates weren't even consistent. There were months, sometimes multiple at a time, with no story update at all.
And even when they had begun doing monthly updates consistently, it could be anywhere from two to five months before you got Daybreak Town again.

You know this is a Kingdom Hearts game, right? You know that the majority of a KH game is spent in Disney worlds, right? You know this is an online mobile game, right?
They have to pace the story out to match the game's lifespan. It'd be fucking dead if they just blitzed through the main story all at once.

There's no reason to be upset. This is what you signed up for. Not the game's fault you weren't prepared.

And in general, it didn't have the support frequency (updates, events, etc.) that UX does.

I don't know how to feel about Marvel or Star Wars being added to Kingdom Hearts. One one hand, as weird as Kingdom Hearts is with its crossovers, Donald Duck saying "Sephiroth" still blows my mind, I feel like that would be pushing it.

On the other hand, Kingdom Hearts is weird with its crossovers, and it's basically just Nomura's fanfic with a starring OC, so maybe you can't push it enough.

My biggest turn off however is that I don't want anymore live-action properties in the series if I can avoid it. I finished up Port Royal in KHII the other day, and oh boy I forgot how jarring the art difference is there.

Post that setup. Even with DB3 and Pluto the werewolf kills me when its counter goes down. I'm currently trying to engineer a setup that can still kill the minions but lets me have a party member's guilted KA to copy Pluto. I've been able to come close with exceptional status avoiding rng but no cigar yet.

Hrm. What's the guilt and traits on your KAs? This is what I was starting with but it's not enough defense to survive the massive attack buff he gets at 0. I might have to suck it up and guilt Beginning unless an event starts sometime in the 12 days we have this garbage event. Which is more than the usual 7 and that's awful.

Days and Re:Coded are just cinematics.
They cover the plot of the games, so you wont really be missing out if you don't play them but if you want to the only way to play them is with a DS.
1.5 + 2.5 is missing Dream Drop Distance, Birth by Sleep 0.2: A Fragmentary passage and The X Series, not being able to play those will not hinder your enjoyment of 1.5 + 2.5.
DDD, 0.2, and X Backcover are on the 2.8 Collection and the rest of the X series is a phone app.
You can look it up the cutscenes for X online if mobile Gacha games are not your thing, no one would blame you.

Neither of them are difficult and I will never understand how people can't perfect every song of Ice Cream Beat on their first go. They're completely basic inputs and the most they do is hop around, you even get massive leniency for hitting the actual notes. I can't imagine how you'd do even on a normal mode in a proper rhythm game. Hell, I've had to do it 6 different times now and have had no trouble so I just don't get it.

Racing is easy, just boost constantly and always take the shortcuts because the AI is almost always too stupid to take them. Boosts have massive trigger locations and they're pretty much one after the other.

You're going to have to roll for certain medals but they have guarantees and eventually get thrown into the main pool anyway, and the main story is very lenient. The only thing tough for F2P is coliseum, HSC, and events, but most of them time you can do the events no problem. The issue is if you pop into the game now as a fresh start it's going to be tough to scrounge up the jewels needed for pulls and you have to already know when to pull (I.E. During guaranteed premiums) otherwise the free jewels are wasted and they're a pain to come by in decent amounts.

I'm completely F2P without a dime spent and I'm at like level 604 out of 625 I think it is currently and can clear most events no problem. It's the HSC that I nearly never even get remotely close to the top with and the coliseum which I haven't seen 10k since they originally gave out SP Gauge 1 like four months ago.

The biggest deciding factor seems to be whether you own a defense buff medal with extra attack. Going into the first enemy turn with anything less than +6 power/general defense seems to be a sure-fire way to get axed between the attacks and the poison.

Once you manage to clear out the Durandal though, it just becomes a game of keeping the def buffs on and having the leftover health to survive poison. Save the wolf for last, since it will keep your SP restocked.
