Sometimes he's no stronger than a perfect, other times he's an extremely powerful ultimate.

Sometimes V-mon follows the evolution route of Fladramon (adult) > Lighdramon (perfect) > Magnamon (ultimate)

Usually if he goes this way, Magnamon is powerful as fuck. Though golden Armor evolution is still viable for him to be strong. It all just depends on how tough they want him to be.

Just get someone like Ulforce or AeroVeedramon to give you an instant turn, get a Lilithmon for that amazing piercing damage, and get a Mastemon for its main attack that knocks off 25% of its current health. Personally I wouldn't be using Etemon, Diaboromon, and PrinceMamemon for regular fights but that's just me. Give everyone Speed Charge Field, give everyone the ability to cast Safety Barrier, and you have almost every single Great Challenge, Demon Lord, and difficult fight done on Hard. You should probably lead with Ulforce/AeroVeedramon, WarGreymon, and either Plesiomon or MarineAngemon, get your Veedramon to use SCF, get WarGreymon and your third to use Safety Guard on Veedramon (Due to speed) and whoever else, and then it's just a game of keeping up Safety Barrier and SCF.

Ideally you should just keep trying the Great Challenges or Seven Demon Lords because those prepare you for any difficult battle really since they're the hardest ones. If you're having trouble with Ulforce just stick Venom Trap on AeroVeedramon, have Mastemon use its 25% attack, and then just pray Ulforce dies from poison.

For the anime eggs(Agumon and Gabumon) you need to connect your vpet with 5 different vpets. If you are getting two different ones, multiple, or even all of the vpets it counts if you reset one vpet.

If you personally don't find the v-pet mechanics fun, that's okay, different strokes and all. But I like the feeling of each generation being better than the last, and it's not really equivalent to permadeath or save file erase. But honestly, I don't think the fun of raising the vpets has been translated to the digimon world games well, if that makes any sense. The monster raising elements are enjoyable of course, but the real meat is battling and exploring the digital world. So I personally prefer digimon story games because you get that same experience with a little bit of monster raising too, but no death penalties and inane "I need to poop/eat"

What I would like to see is an animal crossing-style digimon game. With gameplay in real time, more focus on island development and friendship raising, and spontaneous stuff.
