So I've been gone for some time from this thread after Rance VI got released because there wasn't really anything new aside from Sengoku mods but I do check Mangagamer's twitter from time to time and I just learned that Evenicle got announced.

It's not a Rance game and it's one of the Alicesoft games Japanese anons said would probably not get a translation so it must have been quite the surprise for a some people.

Still, It's pretty good news, I've heard lots of good stuff from the game.

Will Alicesoft ever consider making a sequel to the Dai games? I don't mean a new Dai- game, I mean something like Daiakuji 2 or Daibanchou 2. The epilogue cgs of Daibanchou made me really want to know about what happens to the characters afterwards, especially Kunagi's cg. It wouldn't necessarily involve Japan since I think Kunagi's ending had them trying to close a hell hole in Europe I believe. But going to each country/continent and closing its hell hole would be able to expand the game while still keeping the initial plot so it's not something the writers have to pull out of their ass to explain why they're doing what they're doing.

Besides, how much more grandiose can they make a Dai- game and still have it involve Japan. Daiakuji's title refers to a person and takes place in...Osaka was it? It was only part of Japan. Daibanchou's title refers to a position (as in bigger than a person) and takes place in all (or most) of Japan. Daiteikoku's title goes from a position being great to an entire empire being great and it uses Japan as a homebase. What's the next Dai- game going to be called: Daikami? Where you play as a new up and coming god of the Japanese pantheon and you have to conquer the gods' territories/regions/control all the way up to the likes of Amaterasu or even Izanagi/Izanami (fucking all the goddesses and bromancing the gods of course). Actually, that sounds like it would be a fun game. And if it's made in the same vein as other Dai- games (territory conquering) then it might be fun capturing and fighting with their pantheon of gods and goddesses

Maybe that's why I liked IV's gameplay more than III's. I didn't use the Feliss exploit, so it felt really crappy. On the other hand, IV didn't felt like it was such a drag because the battle system wasn't completely dead.

I expected Gele's scene to be really hot and one of my favorites because I love her design, but nope. Couldn't fap to it. I usually like the monstrous scenes more than average, I guess it was their weird S&M dialogue..

Did any of the Rance X stuff mention if they're going to bring back levels in the final game? I was kinda bummed that they didn't have it in 9. I mean sure you could level up your weapon and armor, but that's less leveling and more upgrading...It's not the same thing okay? Also, will Willis be back. I was also sad that she only appeared in the background of Quest. She's Rance's freakin' level god, in a game that will probably involve fighting the gods (or probably just Kayblis)

In one of the screenshots they released for Rance X, it showed that encounters have levels. Not sure if that's what they expect the average level of your party to be or if it's simply an indicator. I open the game that I want to hook. Open ITH, Process, find the game and attach it to ITH. If sucessful, when you play the game, the output will be displayed there. You might need to check the list if it's not automatically output. It might not be the default one.

Afterwards, open Translation Aggregator and enable Mecab and JParser, instant dictionary.

I was happy when Haruka was announced, mostly because it made the Escalayer Reboot more likely down the line. I hope either that or Ixseal are the next non-Rance AS game. I'll ask for them come next AS survey.

I really liked Daiteikoku because I don't let myself get hype, so I came in with nothing to go on besides this was a alicesoft game.

Music and characters very easily pushed it into good territory. Eagle Douglas is easily one of my favorite American characters and the only thing that comes close to Retia is sunglasses Hitler, which is just Hitler with sunglasses.
