What are the chances of a definitive, remastered edition of BotW in the coming years? Like they did with MK8. The new DLC is terrible and not worth the price they're asking for, there's got to be more for that kind of money. Like a new town or region.

So I know the Hard Mode + Trial of the Sword DLC came out, so I thought I'd start a new save and begin fresh (which is well worth it with this fuckin' game). But now I'm wondering, with the next DLC being some big story update, should I wait until that's out and just do all the DLC at once?

Alright.

Nothing too major has happened since, other than a visit to /jp/ for a recommendation on what onahole I should use they recommended me a Tomax Dolphin. I've talked with the plusher a little more over some currency issues and got it all sorted out. Some other anon who works in CA offered to make me a Lightscale Trident when I finally get her and post pics. Plushie won't be worked on until September sadly due to backlog but I can wait. When it does arrive I'll be a much happier man.

In other news, I plan on constructing a little shrine to Mipha starting with her Amiibo when it's out. I've posted my sharktooth necklace (>>181813163) in the last thread and I plan on getting a framed picture of her but I'm having a tough time deciding which one. After three runs, I think I need to put this game down till DLC 2. It's still fun to play and I haven't even finished Master Mode, but I know the map of Hyrule better than my own damn city at this point. I kind of hope that by December I'll have managed to forget enough of the game that it becomes fresh again.

This game is the type of game I'm gonna be both saddened and relieved to finish. Playing it is as equally fun as it is like doing a 9 to 5 office job. At least it's still fun to me, though. Clocked 700 hours into my ACNL town and I CBA to check up on it anymore because it is not fun and it's 100% a chore.

Climbing in SotC is mainly used when fighting the colossi themselves. It's used pretty sparingly as a way of actually getting about the landscape, and even then you can only climb on ruined buildings and structures as far as I can remember.

So their trade routes are open again and tourism is up because the Yiga are no longer ambushing travellers. The monsters in the desert are either wiped out or greatly diminished and sandstorms now only occur on the edge of your domain if that plus there’s little threat of getting hit by lightning.

What does Riju chose to do? She doesn’t install a security grate behind her throne or invest in infrastructure. She instead decides to more than triple the size of her military forces going by how many top ranking officers she seems to have for that ceremony greeting Zelda

Given all the defunct guardians in the area, I suspect that the place was still being maintained by the shiekah. That place had time-travel equipment in SS. The Temple of Time also had defunct guardians around it. Taken together, it paints an image of Ganon using the guardians to try to gain control of the places that had time travel gates. It would seem that the good guys managed to fight him off successfully.

I even managed to separate them and fight one then the other, but they're so fucking god damn dangerous. That motherfucking water spit is BRUTAL and they don't even have to be submerged to use it. One just spammed it while on land once. Not to mention they refuse to disarm, even with lightning wand spam while they're in water. Can't even run a sneak attack strategy because they regenerate ALL the damage you deal.

Since Breath of the Wild does a lot of playing off of your expectations, I think the snippet of the DLC in the video is actually set in the past. The shrine is probably just a default skin that hasn't been edited to be turned off. There's not much of a reason for Zelda to be escorted by standard knights and for there to be two Buliaras. So maybe the DLC has to do with learning about how Zelda met the champions and maybe you.

A Link To The Past was pretty fun and charming, Ocarina of Time has the best music but suffers from the "go dungeon, find item, use item to kill boss" sickness, Majora's Mask (and HD) can be extremely cryptic but fucking with the NPC is fun (especially that dog), Wind Waker is fun and has the best Ganondorf even if gathering the triforce was tedious (but it gave you an excuse to explore the world instead of rushing), Link Between World feels like ALttP HD, Twilight Princess is probably good but I can't remember anything from it despite finishing it twice.

Dark Souls surprised me with that feeling that you're walking through a ruined world, but the Zelda games are always optimistic. Even in Ocarina of Time where you woke up after Ganon flaked the world, you have the feeling that everything's gonna be all right.
