Thanks, that one took a while to match to the default pose but I'm happy with it. Caeda and Nyna were both a lot easier, and I suspect the males overall will be a lot more consistent.

I'm still trying to figure out if/how unique features for those characters will be passed or shown in generic characters. Most of the facial features aren't distinct enough to be identified when they're mixed, but the hair designs either have to be heavily modified or I have to accept that some generics will look like clones of the preset characters.

Had to change Julia's special back to Dragon Fang with QP so she could charge it off the green mage 1st turn and one shot the blue mage on the next turn.

Alm and Celica Infernal Guide if anyone needs it, step by step.

1) A Red Mage with either 40 Speed (36 with Hone speed, 35 with the Seal and Hone Speed) or Green Tomebreaker. After the Veronica TT battle, I imagine most of you have G.Tomebreaker around though! I've used Sanaki, but Tharja, Celica Katarina or Lilina will all work perfectly.

2) A Blue Mage with 42 Speed, (38 with Hone Speed, 37 with the Seal and Hone Speed). I used Linde and I think she's honestly the best for it. Reinhardt can't kill Celica without being return killed, B!Lucina should work fine though, and you can use someone like Kagerou, a good Red Mage, or an Archer in a pinch. The only real requirement is the ability to 2RKO Celica. So you need to be able to do 87 Damage in two rounds of combat if magic, or 88 if physical.

3) A Green Mage or Archer with Reposition. No specific requirements, Nino works fine, I used B!Cordelia. They just need to be able to kill the Blue Mage Cavalry, the Blue Cavalry and help kill the Pegasus Knight at the end.

4) Azura or Ninian. Azura is perfect, but I think Ninian will definitely need either a Spur Defense or Triangle Attack to survive Alm's special.

Noob question, does horse emblem buffs affect enemy phase?

Like if my Xander has hone cavalry and I plant him next to my camus and end my turn, if the enemy attacks my camus and he counters will it be buffed by Xanders hone?

I rolled a 4* Lukas but he's -Def / +Spd. I know these IVs aren't ideal for a conventional Lukas build but I'm considering crafting a build that plays to his Spd boon. How does this sound? The Mass Duel Sim calcs seemed pretty good.

You'd have to actually fight all of the major battles on large-scale Fire Emblem maps with mostly generic units and a few named generals.

It probably would have been fine with TA3, honestly. My issue was that Robin wasn't able to finish off the red cav with TA2 in one turn, as you suggested. I could with defiant speed, but he would be chipped down too low by the poison strike+other damage and die to the blue mage.

Someone explain this. Watersweep works like this: if units spd - foes spd >1, the enemy can't counterattack. With two goads, Xander gets 32 spd in combat, just like the green mage. Now 32-32 is 0, which is not greater than 1. So why can't Xander counterattack him?

Xander and Camus both fill out a cavalier team too, all you need is the right setup for nuke mages whether it's through Thunder or -blade

God that was hard, took two stamina potions out of impatience, but it was pretty fun doing all those different attempts. That Quicken Pulse seal came in handy so that Anna could one round the lance cav with Glacies.

I'm planning to feed the next Gordin/Klein I get into Cordelia for BB+ but I know that's a solid goddamn investment, because apparently Brave Bow Cordelia is a solid cornerstone for blasting some of the problem GHB units

Meanwhile with blades, they work in single player but there's no guarantee I can cobble together a decent horsesquad and also fit the arena bonus unit criteria.

My Cecilia is using regular tomeblade and she blows up units fine. When you are getting +24 on top of a 6 attack bonus (and either +6 more from DB or +3 from Fury), most things melt after you point and aim.

Bladetome horses aren't as efficient on a defense team though, since they can be baited away from their buffers.

Nino is the only blade tome. Celica needs reposition and enough speed to double and kill the green mage on the first bait turn. My Linde has 52 atk, enough to ORKO Alm from full with a hone atk buff. Nino has 49 atk before buffs, and only gets +4 atk, +4 spd and +2 res.

First, bait the green mage with Celica by destroying the breakable wall, then position Nino, Linde and Olivia so Nino gets buffs and is able to KO the cav mage on the next turn. Reposition her to safety. Then, Alm and the lance cav will be rolling down the broken wall, so have Nino and Linde take them out. Celica chips down the axe flyer in the meantime if safety permits. Then you can clean up from there.
