I'm noticing a fair number of Part 2 characters are the opposite, bigger boosts, bigger costs, as the base costs are more sustainable with higher MP SP and Regens of both.

That said, I imagine one or more boosting passives are in the game which increase damage and costs and, as such, the Part 1 characters heavy on discounts will take THOSE passives to buff their damage... whereas the Part 2 characters with the boosters are more likely to take the discounts.

Sealed form, but Tamamo was out and about the entire time. That was the mission given to her by Alice I, after all. She didn't just randomly get out; her getting out of the seal was a premeditated action.

And for what reason would Shikimamo even be stronger? She's already one of the strongest beings in a world where the only threats (Ilias and her angels) have disappeared. Tamamo, on the other hand, had to learn and improve herself in her weakened form. Though those techniques may not directly equal into strength in her unsealed form, at the very least, it probably means she's more versatile with a wider breadth of knowledge than Shikimamo.

I had a super low encounter rate and avoided almost any fights in my first story playthru where I did the good coexisty ending for Plansect by exposing the Birdsnek and Cat.

This 1st run, I sided with Plants so I can fight Queen Bee as a boss and steal her Milk and possible panties.

I *really* doubt the other Delphinus insects only show up if you do that though, since I got all the plants just fine.

Have you tried the overworld in the plansect region? I really imagine they were on the mountain, but maybe?

I did have similar ridiculous RNG in the Labyrinth in part 1. Where on my Ilias run, I *ONLY* ever encountered Lucifina. And keep in mind I farmed each of the superbosses 2+ times to duplicate full item sets AND just for green chest loots and literally NEVER saw Micaela until my Alice run later. Though I believe Lucifina still showed up on my Alice runs.

Well I adapted it to part 2 so I don't think it would work with part 1 anymore due to backwards compatibility etc... as for making your own characters, it takes a bit of getting use to in my case very little alterations are done to the primary game (thus why none of them respond to the talk skill). No, the angels plan is nicknamed the "Ark project" and it involves taking a small amount of "chosen people" and putting them on their "ark" (in other words, their world) to save them.

One of the main conflicts is about their methodology. The monster method presumably involves the souls transmigrating and being reborn in some fashion in their monster world, but the way Ilias speaks of the ceremony seems to imply that it's not all smiles and rainbows and the details of how it works have been purposely not touched upon yet. I didn't touch upon it in my explanation, but they also explain that the main reason for this is because the parallel worlds are being destroyed because they're not supposed to exist in the first place. So their logic is that "If we combine everything into one(our) world, then the destruction will stop" and thus they're technically at least saving their world.

I don't recall the angels ever explaining how their plan would stop the parallel worlds from becoming destroyed(though I guess it's possible that once there's only one left, it'll just stop on its own)

Anon, you've got a big misunderstanding here. There's no difference between what the monsters and angels are doing; it's just how they intend to accept people from other parallel worlds where they differ. The monsters will accept everyone by killing everyone and taking their souls. The angels will just select whoever meets their criteria since a single world can't support the entire populations of all the other existing parallel worlds. That's it. I'm not sure what else you think their plans differ in.

I just mean to say that the monsters explicitly say that their plan is to stop the destruction of the parallel worlds(so in that sense you get the feeling that they were trying to think of a solution to the problem) whereas the angel's plan doesn't seem to be presented as anything except essentially taking in refugees and in the Ilias route it's not really explained how this would eventually stop the destruction of worlds
