It's a shit mechanic that rewards shitters for just blocking. Since the guard stance fix LB is nowhere near as shitty as he was.

It's not about how much trouble you have with them, it's about what a shitty, risk-free method of play it is. Losing to LB is pretty uncommon (since he is still kind of bottom tier compared to most characters) but playing against him is absolutely mind-numbing. He never has to take any risks, like a lesser Conq. I will say that a lot of these issues are inherent with For Honor's fighting system and not just LB, though.

His light attack can be an infinite combo as long as you don't repeat the direction of your attack, so its pretty decent if you corner someone with your shield bashes. Remember to throw in a strong attack after a few lights to get another shield bash.

I usually use the strong attacks more as a way to zone a bit, still finding people that get surprised with his reach.

Only do Side Lights.
Forward Dodge Headbutts.
Sometimes just dodge forward and grab them.
Only ever do Side Lights.
If you parry a Light Attack do Side Heavies.
If you parry a heavy attack that came from top or right, immediately press gb to shield bash them then press heavy for a guaranteed combo. If heavy came from left do a light instead.
The Parry-GB-Heavy/Light combo also works on longer range classes so you can say fuck you to Nobushi spamming zone or sidewinders.
If you GB someone just Ledge them.

I think having too many people would transition it from a brawl into a skirmish. An 8 man free-for-all would likely have boosts and people running and shit. Just 4 dudes in a Brawl arena, no boosts no feats, is much more likely to just be a straight mosh pit.
