The main reason why I stick to Pure Skin is the glossy specular map which is one of the best I've seen so far. Other than that I also had a lot of neck seam problems with FSC that I don't have with Pure Skin. The only change I did was labia textures from FSC 9.1 because they were the bomb innie over outie all day, even though I use 3D vagoo predominantly

I wish the face was smoother, though I think I should tinker with my ENB/lighting for that effect.

Look at the steamspy numbers, much less people play SSE compared to oldrim due to SKSE which is fucking required for a shitload of good mods and for ENB, which's SSE binaries are completely trash and boris said himself he just gives up on trying because bethesda fucked up. ALso a lot of the SSE players on steam are new players because you cant find the Legendary Edition anymore.

And lets ignore all this for a moment. You are getting all butthurt because i suggested to use a more stable, working way of implementing towns (you know, the way bethesda uses even in SSE for obvious reasons???) and you think thats okay?

To make it very clear to you: If you use an open city approach to implementing towns, the game has to render everything inside the town, all the scripts are running, all the mods that somehow affect textures, meshes, AI scripts, combat scripts, based and leveled lists, NPC scaling mods(even though they barely exist because lel-no-SKSE) are running, for no fucking reason whatsoever. I dont know what you think SSE is capable off, but its LITERALLY the same game using 64bit. Thats it, simply more RAM.

Do you know what scripts need? CPU power. Your increased ram limit (hi@ SKSE/ENB memory patch btw) has Z E R O impact on all these scripts that are running on the NPC's in the town.

And do you know what else is unaffected by 64 bit?

Framerate. With almost everyone using some kind of texture overhaul mods such as noble skyrim, renthals mods or others, your framerate is gonna tank whenever you get close to bruma, and you gain NOTHING because you arent even in the town at the time. All the neat 2-4k skin texture mod and texture overhauls are still being rendered even though you.are.not.in.the.town

Your only benefit from the SSE is that you can use more RAM and therefore prevent some CTD situations, but in the end your framerate will suffer, your CPU usage will go up and cause instability because the scripts are permanently running(since they are not in their own, secluded cell) and you still have limits on how many AI actors can be active at the same time. Maybe someone wanted to release a immersive patrol mod for bruma? Nope, not gonna happen because they would break every AI actor inside bruma and make them stop working.

Any decent mod author doesn't have scripts "running". They would use events so the scripts only respond when something is actually happening.
There is no such thing as "AI scripts". There are virtually no AI functions exposed to the scripting engine, so writing an AI script would be impossible. Actors that are either in a cell or out of range (defined by the infamous uGridsToLoad setting) continue running their AI, albeit with a lower time resolution; and since AI involves a small number of decisions, the impact on performance is zero.
There is no such thing as "combat scripts", and combat behaviour doesn't matter in the context of a city.
Levelled lists only come into play when an NPC is generated from scratch or dies to an actor with an Add Leveled List perk, so they aren't "running".
NPC scaling mods aren't "running" because all they do is change actor stats. This also means they don't need SKSE.

As soon as the author released the mod, there were great issues being reported.

There are different versions around, new and old. I don't know the state of things currently. It's a big addition to the game, but it mostly doesn't touch the original game. You can even get a boat in leyvadiin with the boat mod and sail to the south of elsweyr, don't remember if you needed the mod that adds generated land to tamriel. It was a great time. Hey guys I just installed TKRE from the OP site and now when I launch skyrim it says "Skyrim has stopped working" and crashes.

I've been fucking around with it and it seems like whenever I enable the proxylibrary function to turn on SweetFX the game crashes. If I disable that then the game launches just fine but obviously I don't get everything in the ENB.
