Lost something like 200 SR this season just because people were either throwing or thought someone else was throwing and decided to throw. You can lose games right in the spawn because your team starts arguing over off-meta picks.

As a Mccree main who has barely touched GM, this is the worst fucking meta since koth before they removed hero limits.

It's fucking garbage, why play mccree when soldier is just better in every way while also being 100 times more forgiving mechanically/strategically.

Why play a character so mechanically demanding when some drooling retard can just remove you from the game by holding RMB with one hand and jerk off onto his DVA figurine with the other.

And when you make a good play and wipe the entire enemy team, some previously-gold gurl gamer can just resurrect them from her spawn because you killed her first, like you're fucking supposed to.

Always be prepared or she'll bomb your healers to death with her fair and balanced 80 splash damage for not even aiming. Finally, never get greedy or overextend. The moment you overextend and get picked off, your team won't have enough to hold the objective.

You can solo-carry in this game up to a certain point. Up to diamond players are complete drooling retards with no understanding of the game. Tell them to group up then go in last and use them as meat shields. Reaper/Pharah/Bastion are busted at these ranks despite there being a ton of DVA players.

Once you get to diamond it gets a little harder and there start to be games that you cannot win. Players at this rank are still bad, but not complete retards to the point where you can go in 1v6. Widow is probably the best character for getting out of diamond. Players position poorly and LOVE to try to duel you. She also tilts people and most team at this rank lack the coordination to effectively shut you down. Get a pick or two and with cover fire your 5 potatoes should be able to beat up the 4 enemy potatoes.

Past that it gets really hard to solo carry regardless of how good you are. Characters like DVA/Mercy exist that can completely nullify any impact a skilled player can have on a game, you'll also get focused heavily if you're the one carrying. You can't win every game at this point, but you can win most over a long period of time by just playing better than everyone else at this rank.

Taimou has been slowly burnt out on OW for a long time. He has problems with the dive meta because it's incredibly hard to defend against and he thinks it is way too rewarding for not much skill. He has a lot of problems with design elements in the game, like he thinks D.Va's DM is too powerful, that movement skills that do damage like Winston leap, Genji SS, D.Va's boosters, are stupid. He thinks the lack of inertia in movement is cancerous because characters in OW already move fast as fuck with movement skills and have all kinda of shielding options, but then they can strafe spam and crouch spam endlessly on top of that.

Yes, and it's fantastic. Reapers I play have no idea how to jam their gun down your throat so they deal tickle damage while I delete them from life
