I'm currently in Orelans and what really bothers me are the character interactions. Really they always have this dumb forced dialogues at the worst moments, like when they fight some dangerous enemies or the moment you meet them. It really feels like they force this shitty sketches during the whole story so they can "flesh" the characters while advancing the plot.

And again, sometimes the servants on your side are way too fucking friendly, it feels like cute girls doing cute things anime. See every interaction between Jean and Marie.

Orleans and Septem were the absolute worst about this, because if you were an enemy Servant then you just got fucked. And even if you were an allied Servant, if you weren't The Main Girl well then screw you too. Okeanos and London did better, but there was still some dumbass crap (Jack and NR in particular got robbed). And America got even closer, but it pulled crap like "hey we literally just threw Beowul and Li Shuwen into this".

If it weren't for the events, I don't think the game could have survived in Japan even with Fate's popularity.
