So this thread is a nothing burger. Should we just have them on Mondays?

Sounds like an idea to try out.

Threads are more successful on Mondays.
What will it be about?
I honestly check everydaymultiple times
Continuing from the discussion in the last thread...
Elizabeth manifested a tear before her and Booker. It was large enough for both of them to walk through, but for some reason Booker couldn't see anything on the other side.
"Booker...it's time I show you something," she said, her voice shaking as she spoke. That was never a good sign.
"Elizabeth, where does this go?" Booker asked, his voice flat.
Elizabeth smiled. Straight to the point like always. "Somewhere...special. We've been on the run, going from parallel to parallel, but we haven't been able to find a place where we can be...," she reached out and took hold of his hand "together...in peace."
Booker understood. After all the revelations that the two had witnessed, their relationship had become incredibly complicated. There was no getting around that. Hiding away in any infinite numbers of Paris wouldn't change that. He put his other hand over Elizabeth's and held her small pale hand between his large tanned ones. "I'll go anywhere with you, Elizabeth. Just lead the way."
Elizabeth's heart fluttered and she smiled at him. "Alright, but I have to warn you, this is going to get weird."
Booker shook his head. "I've had plenty of weird for one lifetime. I don't think a little more will hurt me all that much." Tightening his grip on her, he followed her through the tear and they were both consumed by light.
>>181084631
Go on....
>>181084631
As his eyes adjusted to the bright light around them, Booker began to make out what they world they were stepping into was like. He began to see buildings and trees, and as he peered at them he saw they resembled some of the versions of Paris they had visited. Others looked like they would have been more at home in New York, or even Colombia. Booker was about to ask where they were when the words stopped dead in his throat as he saw another him walk in front of them.
The other Booker gave the two a nonchalant glance before returning his gaze to the person pulling him by the arm. The other person happened to be another Elizabeth. She was different from his Elizabeth. God, he hated having to make such a distinction. The other Elizabeth wore a different dress, and had longer hair tied up in twin ponytails. As the pair walked away, Booker focused his eyes on the city again and began to see it's inhabitance: Elizabeths and Bookers. Dozens of Elizabeths and Bookers roamed around, walking, sitting, eating, laughing. He even saw one pair making out by a fountain. But what really got to Booker was the variation among them. For some it was only slight. Elizabeth's dress was a different color, or Booker had different scars, or the looked a bit older or a bit younger. But some were drastically different. Hell, some in the distance didn't even look entirely human!
"Elizabeth," Booker said as he slowly turned to the young woman, his face a mixture of confusion and horror. "Where in the hell are we?"
Elizabeth let out a sigh, as though she was preparing for something. "This is the Citadel of Elizabeths, Booker."

"The, the what? What are you talking about Liz?"
Elizabeth folded her arms and looked at the ground. "When we destroyed the Siphon, I saw everything. I saw other...versions of myself doing the same thing. I saw that they began to meet one another and started to congregate. This is the city they built. From the foundations of hundreds of worlds. A perfect city for them and their...beloved."
While she spoke, Booker looked around at the other versions of him. He still wasn't comfortable with the idea. With everything he'd done he could barely bring himself to look in the damn mirror, let alone live alongside other hims, and other versions of his dau-Elizabeth. She was only Elizabeth. He turned around and looked into Elizabeth's beautiful, pleading eyes. "I'll just be honest with you, I'm not sure how I feel about all this."
Elizabeth gave him an understanding look. "I know this is a lot to take in, but I'm sure you can make it work. You always do." She once again took Booker's hand and began leading him. "But first things first. We have to talk to the Council so we can stay here undisturbed."
"Council?"
"The head of this city. I'm not their biggest fan, and their not mine. It's amazing how different the same people can be. Now stick close with me. I don't want you wandering off and getting whisked away by a stray Liz. We got enough Booker strip clubs as it is."
"Wait, what?"
I should really order the art books sometime.

What are some good Bioshock fanfics?
/v/ has the most appalling threads about this game. This board is so much better
You know, Bioshock Infinite is the one game where every time I read or hear criticism of it, it only shows the myriad of ways people can be wrong about something.

For real though, some of the bullshit "arguments" peolple come up with to slander this game really is a sight to behold.

As the two made there way further into the city, Booker got a better look at the rest of the cities inhabitants. Some of the pairs seemed to have fairly platonic, or even parental, relationships. But for some others it was clearly obvious they had gone...further. He swore one Elizabeth he saw looked like she could be pregnant. While he was pondering the ramifications of incest babies, Elizabeth grabbed a bottle of whiskey from a nearby Booker and took a huge swig of it.
Booker was a tad alarmed by this. "Liz, the hell are you doing?"
Elizabeth took another gulp of the alcohol, wiping some off her face. "I'm just g-getting *burp* for our meeting," she said, sipping some more whiskey. "I really can't stand those girls, Booky." Booker grumbled at that stupid nickname she game him. It was supposed to tie together the her two great loves in the world: him and books. Booker thought it just made her sound like a six year old. But enough about nicknames, he had to make sure his child/lover wasn't picking up his bad habits.
"Liz, you shouldn't be doing that. Believe me, I should know. It won't make anything better."
Elizabeth looked down at the now empty bottle and signed. "I know, Booker. I guess it's just genetic." She gave Booker a sheepish grin as she deposited the empty trash can where another Booker was scavenging for food while another Elizabeth was waiting on him, tapping her foot impatiently. "We've got some time before we go see the Council anyway. Let's go check out what the other me's have made."

So is BioShock: The Collection pretty much the best way to get all the games now?

Can Infinite run well on a toaster? I got the series bundle for $15 on Steam. I can run BS1 well on high, as a point of reference.
>>181377473
Like how toaster? I ran Infinite fine on my old GTX460 when it first came out.
>>181379694
Well, I used the benchmark thing, and on 1280x720 Very Low, I got a solid 30 or so FPS the entire time. Are there any parts that might have significant dips?
>>181381406
Combat might be an issue. Depending on your CPU it might be too much for all the AI on the screen. Then again if that benchmark ran solid at 30FPS, you should be good.

Elizabeth gave Booker a very well guided tour of the Citadel. From what Booker saw it was very well thought out. The usual necessities for living where there, although sometimes Elizabeth's eclectic interests peaked through. He couldn't quite see, for example, why there needed to be a cozy Paris cafe on practically every corner. Or why nearly every building had at least one bookshelf in it. But when you had so many Elizabeth's in one place it was bound to happen.
Besides cafes and well furnished homes of varying styles, there was also a large park, a greenhouse where some Elizabeth's collected exotic plants from their travels, a museum other Elizabeth's filled with souvenirs, at least a dozen libraries, and a fake beach. They visited a club where other Bookers and Elizabeths ate and watched a show. The show had a variety of acts viewable by a large tear. Sometimes Bookers or Elizabeths showed off their own talents. Four Bookers got up on stage to sing "God Only Knows". Liz snidely remarked they were the only four Bookers that could sing. At the end of the show one older looking Elizabeth with heavy makeup got up and crooned a very sensual number.
Having had enough sightseeing, the duo made their way to the center of the Citadel. A large building, larger then any other, stood before them. Booker noted that it wasn't much taller then the rest. In fact, nothing in the mishmash town was taller then a few stories, not even the Eiffel Tower saved from the universe of a war ravished Paris. Guess Liz still had a strong dislike for towers.
Walking up the stairs, Booker glanced at the two guards who stood on either side of the entrance. They were other versions of him, and nodded to them as they approached. Liz stepped towards one and held out a piece of paper. The guard read it and opened the door. The two made their way down a large hall, pictures of famous events in both their lives and in other versions of themselves framed on the walls.

Hi
>>181398516
They stopped in front of another set of doors. Liz stopped, used a tear to summon another bottle of whiskey, drank it, and through it away. Taking a deep breath, she turned to Booker. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
Booker took her hand and gave it a reassuring squeeze. "I think you can handle this fine yourself. I'm just here for moral support." Elizabeth gave a quick nod and they pushed the large doors open.
They found themselves in a large circular room. Everything was blue and gold, with traces of white. At the other end of the room were a series of raised thrones, on which set a different version of Elizabeth. To Booker, they looked the most different out of all the others he had seen. One had red hair and freckles, one wore a black dress and had red eyes, one had the lower body of a snake (he had to double take on that), one looked like that singer with heavy make up from earlier, and another seemed to wear strange clothes that Booker guessed were from the future. The central Elizabeth that stood up to address them seemed to bear a passing resemblance to his own, but looked older.
"Elizabeth-1999, what brings you to the Citadel?", the older looking Elizabeth asked.
Liz closed her eyes and breathed to calm herself. She opened them and looked at the other versions of herself. "I wish for my Booker and I to be permitted to stay here." The Council whispered among themselves before the older Elizabeth raised her hand to silence them. She then gazed upon Liz with a look of contempt.
"It is a well known fact that you been and outspoken critic of the Citadel and the council that governs it. What has made you change your mind?"
"My Booker and I have crossed dozens of dimensions and experienced a hundred different lives. But no matter where we go we can't seem to settle in. I decided that perhaps being able to talk to others about our experiences might help some."
