However if the medic is capable of listening and has basic game knowledge (open level) then he'll do just fine, if you're prem and you replace any of the dm classes for an open player you are going to finish bottom table, you would be forced to constantly get free picks to not get outnumbered since the 6th player is useless now. If you swap your medic for an open medic you'll still finish first or at worst the second, he might drop an uber more every game and get in a stupid situation a prem medic wouldn't once in two games but that's not a big thing.

1. no Medic in team and you ought to go alone, or Medic is there but completely clueless.

2. pitted against a decent pocket Demoman that sticky spam and follows by pills and detonation

Noticing Spy first is the Medic's job mostly in a Heavy-Medic pair. Just be careful about divebombing Spies when revving under nearby balconies or high floors.
If you have such problem, best thing you can do is NOT revving at flat terrains for long and climbing somewhere high for taking height advantage while keeping the climbing route at your sights.
At any suspicion, don't hesitate to stop and revv down then perform a backjump-revv to open fire again, or just fall down from the platform to lure Medic away from him.
Best bet would be revving and firing your Minigun by peeking out from ramps and crouching momentarily. Someone crouching at the upper middle of a ramp is pretty hard to jump over and trickstab.
That's what Huolong's design aimed at actually, ramp will cover the half of fire ring but anyone tries to approach you from below will be pushed away and burnt.
If you carry a shotty you can pop their DR easier without giving away mobility then do a backjump revv to open pressure fire. Since Deadringer will be nerfed hopefully, you don't have to fear Spy at the oncoming days at all imo.

Memorize ramps, sloped surfaces, shadowed corners, and red/blu colored any background or prop.
Be it walls, containers, shacks, huts, boxes, rocks. When you need extra cloak just stick change to the fitting disguise and exhaust it.
You'll be seen as a tinted shade at the open, but won't be noticed easily if you act like a proper chameleon.
When noticed, just stay cloaked and crouchwalk near walls stand up and move away when flickered.
When chased jump top of boxes, crouch at ramps after cloaked.
Preferably travel at high floors and intentionally suffer fall damage to flicker and confuse enemies. Backjumps work tremendously good.

I don't even know how to rate this. Composition is really off putting. Nothing is in order.

All the pyro sets are okay. The piss yellow one's are decent enough. 6/10
That medic set is rather nice. Medigun doesn't fit too well though. 7/10
Minimalist solider with scarf ain't bad either. 6/10
All the engies are pretty minimalist too. 6/10
