The only event that requires truly active playing are grooves and tokens. And quite a few people just stop at 10k to finish all commus and get the first card. They couldn't really get assed to go for the tiering/20k card. If you look at the rankings. 200k rank often has people stopping at 10k. So theres a fair amount of people just gunning for 10k alone.
