Nah it's actually pretty shitty design. Having a bunch of talents for an ability that all synergize with each other means the hero has very few actual build options. You end up with hero builds like "if you take the Q talent at level 1, take every other Q talent. otherwise take all the W talents". No variety whatsoever.

People sing nUther's praises but after playing him, the thing I immediately notice is the lack of Conjurer's Pursuit. He has literally no staying power without it and his only reliable form of mana regeneration forces him to put himself WAY too far out front for a healer.

You know, I really like this game and have been playing a lot since 2.0 and wouldn't really mind spending some money on it.

But there's like fucking nothing to spend money on that actually feels good. Can't buy skins with money, the bundle doesn't let you choose skin tints, and buying heroes with money is pointless when you have infinity gold.

I guess they want people to spend money on loot chests but the loot chests are hot garbage. Especially the event ones, 4 commons and none are guaranteed to be event, yippee, that definitely incentives me to drop $50 on them

I don't think Azmodan actually considered the nephalem to truly be a threat, especially not against the demon army he had. He was there to try and take the soulstone and become Prime evil.

I'm pretty sure that you're correct: Azmodan had no fucking way of knowing that Adria was working for diablo and preparing a new vessel for him. Zoltun Kulle seemed to figure it out and as soon as he was ressurected was very much "Something isn't fucking right about the soulstone, we should figure it out".

I'm not entirely certain that the nerfs are 'unnecessary'. Like, he's not super strong but the skill floor for malthael is pretty low; All he has to do is be in the right location and press R then hold down Q and with that he'll do 20-40 of your teams max health in damage (even if he dies).

Ideally a hero should have a little bit more mechanical nuance for their power than literally just *being in the right spot*.

Only really broken thing on the list is malth. Dva is average, albeit incredibly annoying. Genji is just a little too strong. Im actually fairly worried they're gonna gut him with nerfs. Like tracer without a pulse bomb crutch. Healer reworks were mostly nerfs. The problem with healer rework is Uther is literally the only viable healer atm

Their original plan was to make it so healers are weaker = faster games
Now everyone is picking Tassadar+Healer or Two heal and making games just as long, or having to force ban Uther

Genji's problem for me is that he literally never has a time where he 'doesnt fit'
Even an incredibly versatile dps like Valla takes careful picking, Genji can literally go into any teamcomp because his Q's fucking magic damage.

It's a fucking spit in the face for any physical dps while doing everything a chase/dps assasin can do.
