Anyway came here to report something else, after the tempest completelly burned me down, I didn't felt like playing anymore, and left the arena for the last week, came back today cause grown Tiki is my waifu.
The thing is my arena tier hasn't gone down, I was in 17 and I'm still in it, and I did recieve the defense reward, so it seems that if you don't fight in the season, you clearly won't recieve any reward besides de defense one, but also won't fall tiers.

I'm running a non-merged but high BST team and usually see equivalent units. It's relatively common for there to be a single mage on the other side, though.
