So how the fuck do I beat Michalis with Michalis, WITHOUT 5*ing him?
I can beat every other unit on the map easy, with Lukas and Merric. Lukas baits and destroys everything on the top right, while Merric destroys the Lance infantry on the left.
And I can destroy Michalis with Caeda.
But my own Michalis at 4*, lv.35, only does 4 (four) damage to him. This is with threaten def from Caeda. I don't have any other units that can take a hit from Michalis and live, aside from maybe Minerva and Xander, but both do less damage than Caeda

Gyanko is fine, she gets posted to hell and back on /m/ as some sort of sex goddess and I really 100% do NOT see the appeal. /m/ has long since become completely worthless as a board, though, so hehe I am, a refugee.

Did have great mech designs though. The Gyan has always been one of the 0079 suits that deserved to be fleshed out more.

I actually got both my Reinhardt and Eirika on accident, too. With Eirika, I also selected her icon just to see and discovered the red glowing frame and the title. After that, I promised I would watch out for Ephraim.

At that point, I made sure to get all of them at high quality and crop them to 250x250 pixels. These are the only ones I can do, now. I'm not really looking for anyone, frankly, but if someone interests you, I'll try to look out for it.

Cecilia's Bladetome needs both Hone and Fortify Cav applied to her to be the most effective. Ward and Goad do NOTHING for Bladetome's special effect.

Hone needs to be applied to both Cecilia and Reinhardt while Fortify needs to be applied to Cecilia and Xander (and Camus if possible). The best way to achieve full coverage like that is in a box formation.

You can't do it. You have placed the buffs on the wrong units. Camus needed Fortify Cavalry, not Reinhardt.

I kind of want him to have a new special that increases damage based on the damage he inflicts while charging it (or maybe just a variant of the -Blade tome effect as a special), to recreate the weapon kill bonus of FE4. His silver sword becomes fucking legendary by the end of Chapter 5 because he'll definitely have slain more than 50 enemies so he gets Critical and a bonus to it.

Still gets Tyrfing as a 5* of course.

That's part of their usefullness. When the Tempest Trials came, I realised I needed a second team so I decided to build a horse team. Xander and Camus happened to be available so I added them in. They do quite well even without their DC weapons. Really I haven't seen a lot of situations where DC would have been useful.

Oh you meant that. With Camus' Goad he gets a +4 to Atk which translates to +8 anyway. He doesn't really need more in my experience. He just kills whatever's in his way. I will eventually pass on all the cav buffs to all members of my team I just need SP and feathers so I'll be sure to try out your suggestion. I built the team this way because I didn't want to be too reliant on my guys being adjacent.
