You seem to generalize mods quite a bit. There are plenty of mods out there that are very great and almost essential for its immersive features. Be it Wet and Cold or Campfire.
Armory can change plenty in mods, some can make them worse and some can make them very good. There are multiple armor packs that are very nice to have around. From textures to armor packs, there are some that just shit on the quality that Bethesda gave us in release.

I don't know weather this is genuine opinion or not but I actually somewhat agree with it. Besides mods that fix the game's bugs, what we have now doesn't truly improve the game.
What is added are mostly some gimmicky mechanics or when it comes to weapons and landscapes just more of the same.
How much does all of this enhance the game, really? Modders are not game designers and what they add is usually jarring and sticks out form the rest of the game.
I could write more but, at the end of the day skyrim will remain a soulless and boring mess of a game.

The changes are pretty subtle, and I kinda like it. The bump on the chest is pretty nice in the Steel Plate, but the cons is that there are two issues with the armor. One is the belly, the animations end up a bit glitchy or clipping. (Look at the torso, the model 'eats up' a part of the armor in certain animations) It's noticeable in her idle.
The other is the waistband. There's a hole on the waist area that the guy probably didn't realize to cover up or collapse the vertices in the 3D modeler.

It was worth to try out, though.

It's not the colors that are the problem, actually I like TKRE a whole lot when I'm in dungeons or running around at night.

The problem is the way it completely fucks up the sky and adds some weird-ass apocalyptic glow to the horizon that I could never remove. I've asked for help a dozen times in the past, installed new atmosphere.nif files, adjusted settings, and still the sky is fucked.

The only times it looks good outside was dusk or nighttime.

I like a bright blue sky, lush green grass, etc. I can't stand 'bleak' type ENB. I tried Seasons of Skyrim and while the colors were perfect the shaders felt a little odd to me, so I'm trying to find something with similar color settings but better shaders.
