I agree. There are little to no balance changes, ever, and it just gets stale playing against the same optimized decks over and over again.

Optimization is fun, except when everyone is optimized to the point where games are decided as early as turn 2, and ended completely on turn 4.

Why has Warlock been removed from standard ladder? Why are Mages and Shamans the only classes allowed to have effective and cheap board damage? Why did Blizzard give up on the context-specific Paladin removal cards like Scarlet Purifier? Why hasn't a minion card with the ability to kill things while ignoring their deathrattle been created yet? Why is the only instance of cards being able to ignore taunt accidental? Why are so many aspects of gameplay ignored? I really want to know these things.

Just to make sure, there's no point opening card packs before the expansion hits? When MSoG was released there was a bug that caused triclass cards to be opened a lot more often than others, the fix for this included a compensation based specifically on card packs opened which implies the content of each pack is generated when it's opened, not bought. Just a bit unsure because OW will receive a similar change for its loot boxes, but it has been confirmed that contents are generated whenever you get a box.

Getting to legend requires you to play the right decks and a lot of time.

The problem is that Hearthstone completely sucks the life out of you as you play it. I got to legend once and I'll never do it again unless there is some massive reward for it.

Cleric for easy draws and just another 1 drop. PWS is just good, works well on its own as well as Radiant Elemental + Lyra miracles. Elise for extra niggering with Shadow Visions. Let's say you're playing a murloc Paladin deck and you have both Grimscale Chum and Murloc Tidecaller in your starting hand.

Is there an optimal play order? Does it depend on how many other murlocs are in your hand and whether or not you have the coin?

I tend to go with the Tidecaller first against classes with a hero power that can ping minions, otherwise with the Grimscale Chum first - is this correct, or not?
