Demiurge is bit bad because I mainly fused him for Anticthon so he should be replaced. Also I fell for the bonds meme but I use Asahi

Izanami has way too little health, even with Life Surge. I'd recommend replacing her with someone that can take hits like Mara or Shiva. Also yeah looking at later posts you need two magaon users in case one bites it. Also, someone who drains/repels phys (not null) is crucial since he basically loses his turn when he (frequently) uses one of his physical moves. Imposing Stance is also great. Basically everything that pushes him back from spamming Black Hole (mp drainer), Supernova, and his two max debuff and max buff attacks is important.

As a side note, if your samurai team begins to fall, immediately have him kill them off, you can't afford him buffing with walter or jonathan dead and then smashing your main party with supernova next turn.

For starters, on -both- dagda and danu's paths there's still gods. they talk about making new ones on danu's and on dagda's you get to be a god with a human form. It's a difference universe. There are infinite YHVHs and they all govern their respective universe, the same goes for Lucifer being different. The Lucifer in 4 is not the same Lucifer in 4A, and definitely not the same Lucifer in Nocturne. YHVH is the same for each universe but someone like Lucifer's power level may vary.

It's not a sequel. The mainline SMT games all take place in different realities but they're all canon to eachother. Demifiend killing YHVH in Nocturne does not affect 2's YHVH, same goes for Flynn defeating Lucifer in 4 not affecting 4a's lucifer. The crux of the SMT series (or at least the mainline 1 to 4 games) is that everything is stuck in a never ending war paradox. Every route will ALWAYS inevitably just restart another war between humanity, gods, and demons, even the white route doesn't stop this. This will always happen in all of the universes and only Stephen from what we know has truly ascended to the point where he can move through realities freely. He's even above YHVH in this regard.

I think you're overthinking this.

For one, Danu doesn't mind if gods exist, she just doesn't want to upset the harmony of the races and nature. Dagda, on the other hand, wants to get rid of Observation altogether by making a world where humans are their own "gods" (as he says, gods is just a word) and all actual demons and gods or whatever are confined purely to the Axiom. I think what you don't realize is that YHVH was the one who created Observation, not the Axiom, so that humans would unwittingly trap gods in their current forms while YHVH could retain his divinity. This is also why Krishna was trying to destroy the universe and YHVH.

I mean, the whole thing about 'not liking demons' is tied to transhumanism purely out of how demons work in IVA. And Dagda's empathy is pretty sincere - though it comes off in a chaotic sort of sense of "fuck you guys for holding us all back" when you have to deal with your friends and Fujiwara, Dagda does seem to genuinely aim for the elevation of humanity and to cast out the gods and demons that he sees as being detrimental to the progress of the world, which is definitely a stance more befitting of neutral. And that's a valid thing to think in SMT where gods and demons are constantly shitting things up, but unlike Danu who wants it solved by coexistence, Dagda wants to remove all chance of another law vs chaos war ever again. Which is justifiable.

I mean, Neutral has been and always will be the 'problem solved, but here's 5 more that spring up' path, and I think that's still a core part of both of IVA's endings. Note that I was the original guy you replied to and I still think Dagda is a supreme edgelord, but he's not unjustified.

Even with people mentioning that it's separate in that Nanashi took a different path, they are actually different universes. Nozomi for instance in IVA has Danu as a stand whereas nozomi in IV had to become Danu herself. Then you have stuff like Abe taking hold of the Ashura-kai instead of the Ashura-kai completely disbanding, and the same thing with the Ring of Gaea and how they were disbanded in IV but had leadership handed over to those old women in IVA, and so on.

Again, this is only because it gets shunted onto neutral. Nothing about law or chaos ideology inherently involves needing to not be pro human. Especially chaos. Human and demon souls are even somewhat continuous, so these pro human elements being thrown onto dagda despite him resembling normal neutral even less than chaos is more or less arbitrary. Sure, it still has the overt pro human element, but done in a stupid way that tries to read more into law and chaos than are realistically there, especially be people who pick them.

Walter and johnathan didn't choose what they did because "fuck humans." If we consider transforming humans to count as anti human then there's no reason to consider dagda pro human. We could just as easily have remade the world into a lawish or chaosish one, but said they were pro human and anti demon. If the only important part is disparagement of alien life, it comes off like the message is that you should be racist. Because gods can't -only- be a metaphor for anti humanism when demons are a real entity that lives in their world.

He effects it by intentionally causing disasters and solving them so people can believe he's this omnipotent savior God, praising him until the Axiom makes him truly infinite. That's been his whole thing for a while now, even before the whole multiverse bomb was dropped on us. YHVH stays in his seperate universe because simply observing him can cause harm to his godly hood. YHVH without the Axiom boost is just another extremely powerful being. It goes both ways. In some primal original universe humans existed before gods were formed. And the data that became gods existed as vague animistic essence in the world. Humans observed gods. In other words, it seems like they're telling two different stories that don't really fit together well. And iva is trying to prioritize the one that most people playing the games probably wouldn't consider the main one, since the other one more obviously supersedes it. And most of the games don't depict it as main either. The very first wave of YHVH's from each reality were created by the Axiom to be a kind of avatar which governed their respective reality. >A thing I realized when I entered this company is that even if you're good at drawing, that doesn't mean you will make a good character designer. Competitions inside the company can get pretty harsh, but sometimes it can happen that designs from people who can't draw end up being adopted. For the initial concept, stick figures are usually better than super detailed characters.

Because DDS is the most "normal" of the SMT games from a beginner's perspective (barring Persona, obviously). It's essentially a standard JRPG with preset party members, but it has SMT mechanics sprinkled over it, which can really help someone get used to elements, skill names, press turn, etc.

EO is like this, Persona is overtly like this, and SMT games have become less subtle about it as time has gone on. Then you have stuff like catherine where YOU are the only one who ascended the tower and you have 2 gorgeous women drooling over your dick, RH where stocke is intelligent, handsome, and has control over time, everyone looks up to him, trauma center where it's said you're blessed by the god of medicine, and so on.

Space MUHrine and Aleph are hands down the ugliest protags
