In Persona 3, generally, should you be the same level as the boss your fighting? I've been following that line of thinking up to now, just beat the Chariot/Justice boss, and they were a joke. I feel like it's kind of ridiculous to level up 8 times before the next full moon (the hermit boss is level 39), and I do feel a little bit overpowered, but at the same time I expect to be about level 90 at the end of the game, so is there really THAT much grinding ahead of me?
