Alternatively just get a PSP and emulate it there, although I think the music might be broken wipeout style, unless someone can confirm to me that theirs works.

Well, for one thing, the 25 only ever had a single crew member, and the 31 has two.
Also, take a look at any top-down views you might have of the 31, and you'll note the horizontal tail is set much further back on the 25 than it is on the 31, and it's considerably bigger.
>>
>>180302251
The difference is the cockpit and nose. MiG-31 has the canopy for both pilot and WSO are right behind each other. For the MiG-25 the WSO seat was higher up.

His argument isn't that the F-22 will be the only 5th gen plane, he's saying calling the F-22 the best 5th gen plane doesn't mean much when there are hardly any other 5th gen planes for it to be better than.

>Closing her eyes, Nagase was able to imagine that it was Blaze’s finger instead of hers, as she relaxed her anus, pushing her middle finger as deep as she could from the awkward angle until it was fully seated. Any movement of the finger sent resounding sensations deep into her core. With this added stimulation, Nagase was able to feel her orgasm fast approaching as she redoubled her effort on her pussy, vigorously rubbing with the flat of the fingers, interspersed with an occasional pat. She let out an audible moan, startling loud in the hangar that otherwise echoed only with the sounds of her self pleasure.

Is the HD collection really confirmed for literally never ever with no possibility of happening in this or any other universes and timelines?

Maybe if AC7 has good sales they'll reconsider it?
>>
>>180309637
Why would cloud combat make the game easier? From what I've seen, it adds difficulty due to the severe loss of visibility and control.
>>
>>180309814
I'd assume the loss of visibility and control also applies to the enemies and they're far more likely to go full retard and nosedive straight into the ground

Or did you guys drive them off?
>>
>>180309794
In my opinion I think they probably will, but at this point in time there's not much point in sweating over one. I think AC7 will having decent enough sales will persuade them take a look backward in the series, and hopefully at that point, they might release one.

I've finished the Nagase one, the F-35 dropping flares is nearly done and I'm entering the final steps for the feMoebius/femCipher one.

I'm finishing them mostly because I don't want the time I invested in them to go to waste.

I actually don't know if I'll do more stuff due to the reaction last thread, even if it wasn't aimed at me specifically.
I really love Ace Combat and I was overjoyed to get requests relating to it (take a look at drawthreads if you dare, there's mostly high-popularity things, it's underwhelming), but I don't want to cause strife in my favourite general.

So, as much as I'd love to draw more Ace Combat related requests, I'm not sure if I should.

>i can learn the lewd electrical anatomy of plane systems
But what the heck is an associate's degree? I have a Bachelor already.
I would do this so I can one day be able to care for my planefu, even if the program is just for small craft/commercial airlines.

wanna know how generals die off in /vg/? three things

-ERP
-Fan-Fiction
-Waifufagging

Any of those drives away current or potential visitors of any general. act as if you're new to a certain series and want to get to discuss about it so you go to its general, but instead of seeing discussion, you only see nothing but faggetory to the point that the on-topic interest is gone.

i got into the series because of this general when i asked around 2 years ago, if i came to this general and saw this whole shit, i would have assumed it became just like any other /vg/ general and left off.

I'm not saying this is gonna affect this board for awhile, im just saying if its happening from time to time, it will hurt this board even further and ruin any chance for newcomers to understand that this is one of the most comfiest generals in /vg/

I imagine they're going the same route that Star Wars Ep VIII went; retell an old story in a new way to avoid any real controversy. After the severe backlash Bamco with AH they're trying to play it safe. So bringing back Strangereal (the big deal breaker for most of us), bringing back AC4 style music, and bringing the writer from AC4 and AC5 pretty much equals circling the wagons to see how we'll react.

On the plus side the XFA-27 with the scarface missiles or whatever lets you have 4 is amazing for every mission in the game. No more having to double run ships, or get off two volleys on tough planes.

POST STALL MANUEVRABILITY
>>
>>180327298
The Scarface MBS is without a doubt one of the most OP parts in the games that have tuning. It's a real bummer it isn't in AC:I.
>>
>>180329361
Agreed. But holy shit is it fun. Now I just have to grind cash for all the planes and get a few more parts.
>>
>>180310116
>>180309794
Considering just how hard AC7 is signaling how it's a return to the holy trinity era, I think Bamco and Project ACES knows perfectly well just how well-loved the PS2 era actually is. I honestly don't think a remake or HD update is out of the question. Furthermore, a lot of the usual reasons why one wouldn't happen don't seem to apply here - they commissioned their own music and cutscenes so we won't get an Electrosphere problem, which is often why games aren't re-released.

It could be due to AC5's use of Puddle of Mudd's "Blurry" though, if they no longe rhve a license to distribute the song.
>>
>>180329837
I can't even remember where in the game Blurry is played. Does chopper play it over the radio?
>>
>>180330070
I think it was played during the cutscene before First Flight and possibly in part of the credits?
>>
>>180313197
It's on Steam unlike the past titles, and Steam has made video game discovery a lot different from how it was in the PS2 era.

I don't think it'll have a AAA-tier launch event, but I do think it will have consistent sales for a long time, because it's the sort of game that gets positive word of mouth. Of course, this is with the base assumption that the game is what we hope it will be.

If it is, it has all the usual hallmarks of a game that lasts on Steam and makes a lot of sales over time. Good reviews, good word of mouth, a relatively loyal fanbase, a relatively easy genre for people to get into if they're not already into it, an element of nostalgia for old games...

Osea is an expansionist state who has spent its entire history subjugating the entire western haf of the continent, under the pretense of bringing peace and freedom.
They created the Belkan War by forcing Belka to sell them the Great Lakes and ruining the Belkan economy, before going to war in order to "free" the South Belkans.

To those who have played Skies of Deception, what was the most retarded playthrough you did? For example, did you engage Gleipnir in Standoff in the Skies I/II with just FAEBs? Or perhaps completed Armada with just a Prowler?
>>
>>180357268
I tuned the Fregata to the point where I played it like a high-speed supermaneuverable interceptor. I usually stayed near max speed for extra retardation.
And of course I used FAEBs on the Gleipnir, where's the fun in doing otherwise?
>>
>>180357419
>Fregata interceptor
Kek. Sure the Fregata gets the powerful engine upgrade parts, but damn, why would you turn an attacker into a fighter?

>>
>>180357176
What are you going to use to cover the faces, if anything?
>>
>>180357580
Not a mere fighter. An interceptor. A brrrrt that does supersonic dogfights and turns on a dime Macross Zero style.
My fighter of choice is the Forneus, but this Fregata setup was almost better at it's job. Almost only because of the obscene maneuverability of an upgraded Forneus and the limited AA loadout. But at that speed, long range meant nothing.

>>180357668
It's for one of the previous thread's lewd ideas, ( >>180267462 ) so I opted for showing the face to make it a bit less awkward.
>>
>>180357935
And just to clear things up, those faces where quickly added to avoid triggering anyone. The ones for the actual drawing are different.
>>
>>180357935
I always had problems turning the Fregata when it has its scramjet parts, even when I modified its wings. Meanwhile I can run dead loops with the Forneus without much issue (except for ammo count)
>>
While I understand that you all don't like visible and speaking player character like ACAH's Bishop, what do you think if in AC7 they fully show the player character in close up during cutscenes, albeit being silent with his face covered with visor and oxygen mask and only using body language to communicate and express his emotions?

I'd prefer the protagonist remain outside the cutscenes. Having the other characters comment on the sicknasty shit you're doing is the best part.
>>
>>180358450
I just don't see it in AC. It feels like a staple to not show the bastards all that much if at all unless it's some scenes like in 5 or apparently AHL.

Just helps with the immersion since it's the player. Which is probably why >>180358610 doesn't bother me. It's just like you're supposed to be there seeing this shit. It's just not shown from a first person view. Well and most games sort of avoid it with telling the story from another, further away perspective anyway like 0, 4, X and 6.

>The Huems are rebelling secretly thanks to financial and logistical backing from Osea as part of Osea's wanting to gain a foothold on the Verusean continent in the Cold War, but due to its being seen as an internal conflict instigated by an already difficult administration within the Union of Yuktobanian Republics, no one suspects it
>Suspicions begin to arise when rumors abound of what seem to be recon planes poking around Yuktobanian airspace. It's not a big deal given U-2 spy planes have been intercepted and shot down before
>You are part of a Yuktobanian loyalist squadron and on a few occasions end up encountering one of these rumored spy planes, the A-12 - it's different from the U-2 in that it's larger, sleeker, stealthier and oh so much faster. As you happen upon it, you're suddenly harassed by its recon/escort drone to the point of having to withdraw
>Over the next few missions, your skills grow, but so does the Osean recon plane program as they field the YF-12, this time with two drones: one autonomous one for recon and the other for unmanned escort
>You have to shoot down the YF-12 and both drones, but splitting your attention ends up allowing the YF-12 to escape to higher altitude

Yo what the hell, Zero only has 18 missions?
Dude that's fucking short. I thought they were kidding when command said it's my final sortie, and I had to check the wiki only to find this out.

To be honest I've barely felt any kind of escalation in the plot so far. The only really strong moment was the nuking and Pixy going rogue but that's it. I really really loved the ace interviews but I thought there was going to be more to them and more to the plot in general.

Dammit I don't want to be disappointed again. Anyway, Avalon here I go. Please have some plot.
>>
>>180391858
Well if the canopy won't blow all the ejection seat's going to do is squish you really well against the cockpit. Martin-Baker would be proud of it, but I don't think anyone else would appreciate it that much
>>
>>180392116
>I thought there was going to be more to them
technically you get different fights and interviews depending on your ace style through the game (soldier, mercenary, knight)

zero's a bit light, but that's why it's so good
>>
>>180391858
Well according to the game's "plot", it was all city below and around him, he can't put his plane down on an active street or building rooftop, and the evacuated stadium is the only thing lit up for him.

I don't think the map makers and script writers were on the same page when the map had a river and mountain range right next to the city
>>
>>180392116
it's 18 missions but the fights are different depending on ace style.

0 has the most replay-ability because of that system
>>
>>180392116
Just wait for the next mission, buddy
>>
>>180392272

The glass above the seats is weaker than you think and ejection seats have spikes in case the explosives on the glass (those are different from the explosive bolts that release the canopy) misfire.
The only reason would have been to prevent the fighter to crash into the city, though I find that point moot after the massive airbattle that took place and with his life on the line.

>river
>ditching with a shot up plane and stuck canopy
>so even if you somehow manage to ditch it without dying you will probably drown
>mountains
>even worse of a landing spot than the river
I mean his options were pretty shit and he should've probably tried to go somewhere, but if his comms are anything to go by it was burning up in front of him pretty quickly and gave him little time to do anything after the initial plan with the stadium. With the electrics going as quickly as they did I can't imagine it taking longer than a few more seconds for him to loose complete control either.

Roads would be the only thing, but unless there was a highway with a long straight that also happened to be free of obstacles then it's just as suicidal. A d again, the time he had left by the time he realized he would have to land probably wasn't enough for any of that.
>>
>>180394050
He was going to die anyway, I'm just saying maybe a river and mountains would've been better options to crash in rather than a stadium on the offshoot that not all of those thousands of people that were given the order to evacuate just 5 minutes ago could've left

10/10
>>
>>180394830
But the stadium crash was in the script that you said the map team never got, and the mountains and river were in the map you said the script team never got
>>
>>180394830
I feel the time is the factor here. If they had decided for the river or mountains from the get go, then maybe he couldve made it to there. But anything after the decision to take the stadium is too late because he complains about loosing the radar not a minute later and crashes a few seconds after.

>>180395261

the ending to Zero is easily one of the best endings in gaming for me, with that whole sense of while the Belkan War achieved little more than act as a means to ignite another war and proving that time is an infinite ring that is bound to repeat, a single man brought the entire war to a rest as well as gave many aces that got lost in the sky a new perspective and chance at life, something they're all greatful for with the small smiles they all have at the end of their interviews
the actors gave the characters a lot more life too, and Sean Ryan done an incredible job acting as Pixy and Yuri Lowenthal done great as his voice actor

The point of The Belkan War was that the war was miserable for all sides, even those that benefitted most from it, as evidenced by the makeup of AWWNB. But you, Cipher, untethered to any of the bullshit making it a miserable existence, through your involvement changed the lives and perspectives of those who fought and suffered for the better. It's a direct reference and sort of inversion of "war is hell". Rather than break you into a suicidal, nihilistic depressant, you gradually found life and meaning in fighting to survive, and so passed that meaning onto those you fought with.

>>
>>180405749
Kono said that they were designed for when you want to dodge the missiles without having to jink hard, like when you're fighting a superplane and want to stay behind it or just about to line up a shot, not as a replacement to dodging. From the demo it looks like you don't get that many of them, so I'm okay with them.

Pls no. I'm fine with me having them but I don't want to see my perfect shots ruined by the enemies randomly firing them.
This will just lead to jousting even more than usual, since flares won't work for missiles right in their face right?

So I like the idea, but it has to be well executed. They should have a strict timing. If they're a "evade teh missile!!" button, I'll scream.

And this is what makes them shine.
I can't seem to find an image I saved with an F-5E girl with a large amount of notes on the design, including patterning the chest-waist-hips to the area-ruled fuselage and mixing the pilot helmet with the nose of the aircraft and a tiger theme.

That also reminds me that the best TSF designs are those that stay the closest to the model aircraft rather than going for a generic mecha look. I'll admit disliking Muv-Luv Flankers (my planefu) due to their design. The F-14 is terrible as well.
>>
>>180445774
Other arcade flight sims assume it as the default and restrict verticality to accommodate it, so they're used to it. For instance, the Rogue Squadron games did that.

I don't know why Ace Combat even has novice mode. It seems to me like constantly fighting the plane trying to level itself would make the game harder, not easier.

Yes, but it's a spinoff of a bigger series (A Certain Magical Index) and they aren't stand-alone.

I love them a lot (and most of the author's works) but I wouldn't recommend them to be honest, they need some heavy time investment to get to the best of their stories which involve reading like 40 volumes of LNs and some manga as well.
