What they noticed was that PvPers tended to be the longest running and most fastidiously loyal players who inevitably will pay extra for perceived edges over the competition while generating everything from mathematical analyses of parts of the game to funny talky meme cards about cute characters in terms of content. So they designed a game where that little sense of superiority over a real person that makes the risk-reward mechanics a little bit sweeter going in the vein is the primary point of playing.

You want more Barrierwatch? The barrier is not the problem because right now the cooldown is fine. The problem is the barrier is immobile. How about instead of giving her just a buffed barrier, you make her gun actually threatening and make Fortify work on a gauge like Defense Matrix? It would actually boost her unique niches.

Sym is fine right now and if anything kind of bullshit because her beam can't be outrun once she locks onto you, so you have to kill her, and if she hit you first you have like 1 second to do it before she melts you. The only change she really needs is for her lock on range to be slightly increased and her lock off range to be decreased. Maybe nerf the HP on her shield generator because that thing has a retarded radius and also a huge amount of regenerating HP.

Fortify on a gauge would be pretty neat, actually. I'm not sure if that would be busted though, since you'd probably be able to spam it - most important CCs are only a second or two long at most, so a gauge would basically give you complete immunity if you had good timing.

Her gun definitely needs a buff, though.

Well right now Fortify does what? Gives you 4 seconds on a ginormous cooldown. Having it on a gauge would work because you could still push her shit in with focus fire since Orisa is still huge and can still be critted while using Fortify and is still slowed when she fires her gun. Just now Fortify is actually flexible. It's either this or they do something like give it 5 second duration on an 8 second cooldown or make it so she can't be critted while Fortified. Pick one.

It always was a net buff. His head is now smaller so you can't even crit him as easily. It was already fucking stupid because he has 600 health, and can instantly heal himself for 300 health, and while he's healing himself his head hitbox moves backwards so you can't even punish him for healing unless you're on him with at least one other guy.

He still kills all the same people too so long as they don't have 100% health first, so all he has to do is nick you 1 time before hooking you, which he can do easily since his shotgun has twice the fire rate now, and another bullet, and always had huge spread and can hit you midrange.

Literally only the dumbest Bronze shitters who never contributed anything to the team anyway and just played Hog like some braindead DPS with 900 HP to crutch up their shitty playing think this nerf kills Hog.

Just let him build turret to level 3 normally and buff Level 1 turret damage by like 1 so it's not totally useless. Honestly Taimou has a point sometimes. Overwatch does make it hard for hitscan burst damage heroes, which are more in line with traditional FPS and generally considered the most skillful. Mobility actually is a bit too strong in OW. That said he gets awful salty.

i don't think they quite understand how far away they are from the roster being big enough to actually have some semblance of balance, counterplay, and unique gameplay to make the game last another year
