Compared to a T32, which has garbage armour compared to these two, they're faster. They both have absolutely ridiculous armour, and in many cases are as mobile, if not more mobile than mediums, which for some reason have garbage p/w ratios, unlike these heavies. The Chrysler is only gimped by a 35km/h top speed, otherwise it would be as fast as a Leopard 1, with stupidly broken armour. The patriot is a pershing variant thats only 4 tonnes heavier, yet has substantially more armour than the base tank. If the VC tanks have no right to exist in the game because of supposedly non-realistic values, then neither do these two, along with several other tanks that WG decided weren't competitive enough in their 'realistic' form.

Not really, a Liberte has miles better frontal hull and turret armour; the patriot has roughly equivalent frontal hull armour, in terms of effectiveness, but comes with more gun depression/elevation in an american, (read, impenetrable), turret. The fact is that these new tanks will invite the attention of new, shitty players that might spend a little bit but they're not going to stay. Even back in the day where all we had was the KV-5 and Lowe, the KV-5 was an absolute monster. Being able to clobber tier4/5 tanks was hilarious.
