Honestly, if it could get Titanfall 3 made, I wouldn't mind if they did some sort of EA crate opening bullshit as long as it was purely for cosmetics.

I know microtransactions are annoying and the way they do the free DLC and cosmetic bundles in TF2 is fantastic, but considering how TF3 will probably not be made due to revenue concerns, I would rather have that than not.

If you're going for pure fast, swap Enhanced Payload for Viper Thrusters. EP only improves the AoE, damage doesn't go up.

I personally like running smoke because it's another deterrent for people trying to get close, plus it gives more opportunities for trap/missile/smoke combos

That legion set-up is pretty much the standard, swap for Bulward for better sustain and Sensors for more fun cores.

Turbo Engine is always good for Legion. I like to run Overcore though so I can fill up the core faster. It really just depends on how good you are at playing defensively. The dash lets you evade attacks better, but Overcore lets you bunker down and refuse to relent under an assault because you're going to retaliate with infinite ammo and force the enemy back.

Hidden compartment is also pretty much the best kit for Legion, definitely keep that. I don't know how to play Northstar so I can't help with that.

It only takes 5 kills to level up a pistol. So 5 * 20 equals to 100 kills ever gen. So gen 10 would literally be 1000 kills. It's not that hard to get to that 2bh.

I don't think the Thunderbolt will ever be meta just based on it's design. It's fucking amazing if you know how to use it but it's not a lock on and doesn't have the instant gratification of the MGL where you can see it chipping away at the Titan's health.

Thunderbolt is fucking amazing but people won't pick it up cause it's too hard or different. It's the Titanfall 2 of Titanfall 2.

the thunderbolt is actually a fairly decent weapon against pilots; at least for finishing them off in a situation like your webm. why are you running an AT weapon with the cold war anyway? CW is pretty good against titans once you get the aim down and can land all shots consistently.

the cold war is at best decent against really dumb titans that are already bad against pilots. if you expect to do significant damage to anything but dumb scorches and northstars with it you're going to have a rough time.

I got so used to always having an AT weapon on hand that I forget to use the pistol when I need it, and forget that I don't have an AT weapon when I try to shoot at titans. The extra titan damage makes up for the very few situations I could've survived if i had a pistol instead.
I take satchels over frags/firestar for the same reason.

i dunno, it works well for me. CW is my main loadout so i use it against titans all the time. im not sayin its better than the SMR or a real AT weapon or anything, but it has the fastest projectile speed of all grenadier weapons, making long range shots easy. combined with solid damage, i think its pretty good.
i wouldnt pick it over an SMR on a pistol loadout or anything, but its reliable and ive killed many titans with it.

Gen 13 Ion, I've always used the default one. It helps to get Vortex Shield and Laser Shot up faster, and it isn't too hard to aim with your main weapon.
Use Laser and aim for crits, and Vortex to absorb bullets from Legions and Monarchs.

Does Ronin or Northstar have a higher skill ceiling?
If a Ronin was across the map from a Northstar that was taking direct fire on the Ronin on let's say Homestead for example, who is more likely to win? I say this because if a Ronin and a Northstar are head to head in close combat, a Ronin will almost always win. Assuming they are players of equal skill who are exceptionally talented in both. I need to know mainly because I use styder class titans.

So I discovered you could skip most of act 3 in the beacon level and go straight to the dish and get the component. You can also make the jump back to BT but none of the sequences activate so you can't do shit.
