I guess we'll have to wait and see, but I'm assuming that Cthulu will singlehandedly make C.Blood a solid T1 deck alongside Vengeance Blood. With Blood overall as a class having the best matchup against Haven, greater representation of Blood would push down Haven's presence down. Shadow will still be Shadow because lol Eachtar, and Dragon has a bunch of new toys to play with along with that new neutral 10pp lego. Rune will take the place of Haven as being the chemo since it has better matchups against Blood and can either end the game before Cthulu comes into play or effectively deal with Cthulu with MutaBolt. Daria is still Daria and DShift is still DShift. The other three classes will be struggling to remain relevant. That's my prediction for the upcoming meta.

The reason I have gabby is for enhanced jeno 1/1s that he drops on t6. Arriet isn't as good with them. She's good for t6 tsubaki doing 8 or 12 damage but gabby does 8 or 10 herself.
Also arriet is only really better with 5+ atk followers which you likely won't have on board. Gabby is better for buffing the weak followers

I think you're misunderstanding how Spawn's ability works somewhere. Laura can't make a follower attack twice so I don't understand how you're getting 24 damage. You want Arriet for that.

I also don't understand how you Cthulu+2 Urd at 22 damage while also having Cthulu+1 Urd at 24.

Optimal scenario, you play Abyss previous turn and pre-evolve him. He lives to the next turn and can hit for 8+8 if face is available. In this case Laura would do nothing.

Urding him once will let him evolve him again to hit a follower and do 8 to face for 24 damage. If you have an additional Urd, you can Urd twice in succession to get an extra 6 damage before evoing for that 8 for 30 total. Urd+Laura would instead allow you to hit face again for another 16 for 32 assuming you pre-evoed.

In any case, every bit of thinking I do about this card makes me think its retarded.

Too many forest cards need 2x cards to be played for a weak and meager effect. 2x cards for and extra draw. 2x cards for and extra atk'nbody. 2x cards to deal 3 body damage and 2 Hp damage.

Mean while other crafts have these basic effects at NO additional costs other than pp. It's fucking retarded, it's like the entire craft is made around the concept of 0pp cost fairies but fairies cost 1pp and only TWO cards in the entire craft reduce them to 0pp. I can tell you exactly why there aren't more 0pp fairy card effects. Cygames is deathly scared of making Roaches OP again, so they'd rather just not have to deal with balancing the whole craft each expansion.

You also only need one Flame Destroyer on the field to do 7 face damage. Where as Blade Mage, you'd need 3x of them or some tertiary effects or evolves to get them to do that much. Flame Destroyer is also decent to play on curve if you are desperate and you need to stall since enemy players will always make it a priority to get rid of it.

Forest already has fairies by default because they use them to play their turn 3 4/5, without actually consuming them. They also belong to the category of classes that throws evolved storm followers at face to bring the enemy into range for storm lethal, AKA unga cancer.

Howl combo is the result of two specific cards, not just a natural outcome of shit that's already in the deck for a bunch of other broken reasons already. Howl combo is also not the main win condition in this meta to begin with.

The only storm follower that Forest uses is Roach. Maybe Jungle Warden but that's a T10 enhance and we were talking whether T7 was autowin for Forest.
Forest need to play specific cards to get fairies. Shadow just needs to play whatever followers and spells to gain shadows as the get destroyed.
Cerberus + Phantom Howl is about the same that Roach + Roach since they are both specific cards you need to draw, except that getting 2 from 6 cards (3 Cerbs, 3 PH) is easier than 2 from 3 cards (Roaches).
