Noctis is a 5* base unit so you will be re-rolling for a while, and if you can get Orlandu and Tilith you will be set for life.

Okay, so how does this Aileen build sound?
Artisan and Save the Queen for weapons. Black Cowl since I don't have Fohlen. Demon Mail since I don't have Ramza and don't feel like grinding Monster Breastplate. Accessories will be some combination of Bracer/Celestial Gloves/Ifrit's Claw. Dual Wield, Large Sword Mastery and two abilities that give +30% atk to finish it off. And then when the rape machine comes out, swap in his arm, fist mastery and champ belts.

I think this is my favorite mog king event to date. Fast, profitable, high NRG costs means it's not endless fucking repetition, those metal gods seem common as fuck (every third run so far for me), and hilariously easy. And I'm only running with +150% most of the time (I don't have Maxwell).

How strong do i have to be to fight bosses in difficulties harder than 90? The black waltz fight on d90, had to use 2 lvl 99 kuja bursts to hurt him, and he hit me for like half my health each time. It depends a lot on synergy. You should be able to do it with a party at 65, though. A lot of bosses get stronger at lower health, so doing some damage then trying to hit an elemental weakness with a couple of OSBs works fairly well. You can't really do that with the Black Waltz, but a couple of Thunder Gods or high attack OSBs should work.

Make sure you get all the XP eggs you can from raids, too. The normal and hard ones are easy carries, and the former comes with an extra 1m XP every week.

Was bored as fuck and decided to might as well give the XIII CM a try. Did fine enough with the relics I had for them, but still a close call.
Had Hope hold onto Curaja and act like the secondary healer during my first couple of attempts. Wasn't really great due to Bart's Protect & Shell really making the last 20% of health difficult. Swapped out Curaja for Dispel, gave Lightning Tempo Flurry (slow connected pretty early) with Northern Cross, and Fang was pretty much the Ace Striker/Lifesiphon spammer for her SSB. Lightning was DPS for the start, and Hope took on the bulk for the second half. Sazh had Full Break and Affliction Break, but sat around doing nothing otherwise. AB did well enough with blocking the more painful status shit, with the worst thing being Hope falling asleep once via Dazega.
Maybe I could've used a better RW than Guardian Mog, but Last Stand really did save me a few times. Still had to S/L twice though.

Is Alexandria Castle (the 6 stam elite version) worth running over Sundaily? Is it worth running it even if no bandersnatches appear and I'm bringing non-IX characters? I still have a lot of units to level so I'm thinking about just running that until orbfest arrives.

Also, pic related is my setup for the Full Throttle (ignore LS on Lightning, she's only going to be using SBs). I hope I don't need to bring wall, I'm going to try bringing Lightning USB as my RW. I have Lightning's OSB and BSB2 (the one with the imperil lightning). What combination of soul breaks should I use in which order? I was thinking USB > OSBx3 > USB or use a cast of BSB2 instead of the third OSB in case USB x2+OSBx3 isn't enough to kill and I need to spam some regular lightning burst commands to finish it off. Or should I lead with the imperil?

Convince me that refia or yshtola is a sufficient healer and I don't need Tilith to clear content. I don't want to waste tickets on a healer.

You are going to have a huge problem if you can't kill it fast once it gets under 70% HP, especially if it still manages to hurt a lot with FB/Fran BSB/breakdowns during phase one.

As for the OSB vs BSB2 thing, why not see what would be more effective at the start and then S/L? BSB gives you an advantage with more abilities to use, but OSB is going to be very important at the HP listed earlier. I gave up with the Light USB thing, and opted for a BSB2 for my RW (paired with my own) instead. However, I do have native wall, so there's that. It might be worth it to have Light spam typical damaging abilities like spellblades at start, then do the USB -> OSB thing after the phase switch.

Since a lot of RK strategy revolves around not dying it tends to have a better multiplier than most OSBs, but most people like to make use of the elemental component. Gilgamesh is about as good a Knight as most others, and since you have his BSB enjoy trivializing a lot of content, like Torment mobs. If you cannot survive through phase one with everything you have, then you might need to try with wall and see how that goes. Victory! Ramza went down at the end but damn, they sure are generous in not taking many medals away considering the huge amount of damage I took (thanks Last Stand!) plus a KO. I ended up with having Lightning use wall while everyone else set up buffs/debuffs, then had her use BSB2, hit a couple cmd1s, then two OSBs and one last cmd1 did it. Feels great to get more 5* dex motes, they're the ones I need most besides vitality.

Anyway, it was probably boring for most people, but I came at it at just the right amount of under-leveled that made it an extremely tactical and enjoyable fight that made full use of the Gambit system, which the main game underutilized.

Assuming your gear is a rod and robe, then Zyrus's passives are better than Dark Fina's.
Before gear, Dark Fina's base MAG is 150 + 30% = 195. Provided the gear is a rod and robe, but discounting the stats of them, Zyrus's base MAG is 148 + 60% = 236.8. That's a sizeable 40 difference. You can get another 40 difference if Zyrus has Ramuh on and Dark Fina has no esper, but I don't know if you missed that.

Other than that, remember that Dark Fina's big advantage is that she has Dualcast Ultima as her basic damage spell, and can awaken that to Dualcast Chaining Empowered Ultima (7-hit 560% modifier), whereas Zyrus has to start out with Dualcast Flare and swap moves from there as the battle goes (leading to a general inconsistent output).
