I didn't know PS4gen was filled with brainlets. They need people to become a part of the ecosystem in order for the division to be profitable. When the division is profitable, they are able to pour more resources back out which is why there are so many exclusives they can make and secure. If Sony had an even 25% of the marketshare instead of the 60% they do now, PS4 would be suffering nogames like MS and PC. Cross-play would mean it didn't matter what people bought their games on, so they lose the intensive of alive playerbase.

It was an okay conference. More gameplay of games that were announced. Third Party and VR in the middle really killed the momentum and was bummed out when they had only one game left to announced after that. Should have put Pre-Show games like Ni no Kuni II and GT in VR's spot. Would have rather seen Final Fantasy NT than XV Fishing. TLOU2 felt out of place at PSX and would have felt better at E3. Conference was lacking a hard punch.

I think the conference was required if they want to start announcing games that are within the next year and a half in the future.

It felt like most companies lacked any real big surprises. Microsoft wanted to promote their new hardware but since I'm not interested in it they fell flat on their face in my opinion. Anthem was looking cool but bioware being the developers is a massive hype killer for me. Sony still had the most safe and boring conference of them all though with MH being the big announcement that was like 20 minutes in while everything else felt like a massive drag.

Expectations were high coming from PSX and last years E3. Before "Year of Dreams" all people needed was Bloodborne to get hype. Most of this year was first or 2nd party including VR. Only multiplats were MHW, MvCI, CoD and Destiny. All will come out before next E3 some will come out 6 months after but nothing 3-4 years out like FF7.

It needed like 2 more unannounced reveals maybe Sucker Punches game. Even DQXI coming west would have been hype.

2 is good, so id 4, I never finished Unity though I but it seemed only just fine, it was the first AC to majorly change up combat and parkour, just never finished it cause of all the other shit to play, didn't touch Syndicate but I don't like what I saw of the combat and a grapple seems like cheating.

I would just say wait for Origins, the parkour small amount of parkour we've seen looks as good as any other AC game, but the combat looks much improved.

Oh no the game is ass. Not worth playing, not worth anyone's time. The show however is essentially wacky hijinks with a mellow atmosphere. To the point where Sonic blows up Eggman's base, then Eggman moves in with him since he blew up his house and Eggman just acts like an annoying house guest for the rest of the episode. The show is a 30 minute block with 2 15-minutes episodes inside of it so it goes fast enough that they move on to the next episode when the premise gets a bit thin.
It's pretty good.

Metro still has a lot of the jank the game was born with but it's fun to play overall.

It really depends on whether you want a tight 25-30 hour horror game or a much more open-ended shooter. But overall I'd say get Evil Within just because the number of people who enjoy horror games is so small that anyone who could enjoy it should.

Only two. But there's a map glitch that makes those two easy that won't be patched till next month.

Getting to level 25 with a class sucks. But using the map glitch makes it less of a hassle, just a huge time sink.

40 or so hours. But that varies on your team. You have to win 25 survival matches in multiplayer, which relies on not getting speds for teammates.

4/10 if you use the glitch, 8/10 if not since Hell on Earth difficulty is really hard. If you got one other person to boost with/help out, I'd imagine you could drop the time down to 25 hours tops. I played solo so heavily relied on teammates not being shitter for the 25 wins.

I've mentioned this before but the contracts that Sony signs up with publishers on 3rd party games where they don't own the IP USUALLY fall into a clause where they hold onto the title when a.) it hits a certain metacritic score and/or b.) it sells a certain amount of copies in a short time period - what I'm saying is wether or not Sony hold onto and/or invest SIE budget into more Crash games depends on those two factors - and based on the pre order performance the public has so far I'd say Sony are going to bankroll Crash as a new mascot for a good while once it comes out and inevitably scores and sells well.
