I decided to give the mod page another facelift because I don't have anything better to do with my time. I brought it all into the middle and made use of wasted screen space by adding a preview pane that will display a preview (if one exists) when you hover over a mod. I think it looks nicer, and the previews should be useful.

Looking forward to Krillin. Always played him in the Budokai and Tenkaichi series, plus Raging Blast 1 and 2. I just couldn't use him in Xenoverse 1 (because his combos literally whiffed) and 2 was because he was generally too weak and his combos were still weird as fuck.

Does Freeza deserve redemption?

Look at Gokus friends. Almost every single one of his started as an enemy, rival, or outright antagonist. Yamcha, Tien, Chioatzu all started as enemies. Piccolo started as an antagonist and outright caused the death of some of Gokus beloved friends. Vegeta is the biggest contender, downright causing the death of every single major friend of Goku via Nappa and downright just being an evil person. Even 18 and 17 have had their time as villains and are now friendly allies.

All of these characters got their redemption and became allies of Goku.

Is Freeza allowed to do the same? Would that be too far for the franchise?

Honestly, we don't know. It could be as simple as someone going too far in the tournament and unleashing a deathblow on to Frieza that Goku goes out of his way to block for him. Frieza seeing a monkey take a fatal hit for him like that could spark some change or something.

Gotta remember, Piccolo changed for no reason. He had no reason to help Goku fight Radditz, he just dead so he wouldn't die too. He could have easily taken Radditz ship and left but he chose to stay and raise Gohan for again, no reason.

They could handwave any reason possible to "redeem" Frieza.

I know a kid of 19 that Likes Xenoverse and grew up with the Tenkaichi Budokai series, today we ended up discussing the new DBZ game and how I am really existing and how he didn't like the 2D aspect of it and when I told him that the Budokai series was 2D as well he said "Tenkaichi Budokai, and it was 3D", then I understood all the crying about Fighterz.

In case anybody didn't know my thoughts on E3 already, DBZF was the only good thing to come of it outside Nintendo and monhun was the biggest disappointment I've ever seen from one of these shows. I have a tiny glimmer of hope for World since the team from 4 is working on it and it seems like they're keeping a lot of old features, but even good parts like that could very easily go wrong. And since it's being counted as the next mainline game, we'll have to deal with that for years to come. I fully expect XX to have more content than it too, since they're wasting effort on more realistic visuals and the cinematic crap. That, and they seem to be implying that Hunter Arts were removed. All that anime bullshit was my favorite part of the newer games and I was hoping they would go even crazier with it instead of this westernizing nonsense. I don't know why Capcom's even trying that again after the last few franchises they killed with it.

If the Namek and Glacier maps are causing framedrops, disable the massive particles setting in the graphics options. The setting is responsible for the big fire particles in the air on Namek/the snow on Glacier, it seems really shittily optimised. Disabling it makes it run as smooth as any other stage. Also make sure Depth of Field is set to low or off, it's a huge framekiller on high, not that the whole "vaseline smeared on your screen" effect is very pretty in the first place.
