You're not getting much mileage from that Desert Sunlight and Conscription, and a 3rd Feint Plan is overkill.
I added Regretful Rebirth so a Worm can suicide + explode on my Battle Phase (handy against defensive Relinquished decks).
Half Shut either buys me 1 turn of defenses or cuts an enemy's ATK to safe levels for Worm suicide/block.
4-Star bug kills many Lv4 threats, and Gokipon can fetch 4-Star or a Worm.

Dark Magician is mega trash unless you're specifically building around him, then he's just OK. I don't see any Dark Magician-specific support outside of DMG, so scrap him. If you must have a 2-tribute Spellcaster (and I'd advise against it), get Cosmo Queen (Normal rarity in Flame of the Tyrant), and then don't run more than one.

The fuck is Relinquished doing in there? The odds you're going to pull both him and Black Illusion Ritual are not good. Scrap it for now, and pray you get lucky next Pegasus event if you want to run Relinquished.

Dragon Seeker is not a good card, unless you're looking at farming Kaiba. Even then. Same with DMG without DM. Scrap them for 2300 1-tribute beatsticks when you get them.

Stray Asmodian is... Interesting. A 1900 defense wall. I guess you can keep him, but I would sooner replace him with someone that can kill things.

All that said, slim down to 12 monsters. If you've been following me so far, you know how to get rid of at least two.

As I said, Black Illusion Ritual isn't going to help you most of the time. When it is, it's good, but this is just a deck that you threw a singleton copy of Relinquished in randomly. Scrap.

Double Coston almost makes Dark Magician worth it. Again, without the support that Dark Magician uniquely has, Cosmo Queen is better in every way. And DM is not worth running just to power up DMG.

If you really want to run Dark Magician, farm Yami Yugi for a while to get shit like Thousand Knives, and Tea for Sage's Stone and another DMG. Otherwise, ditch him for something stronger or less costly.

so i'm still relatively new to the game, at stage 8 right now
noticed something weird with the autoduel AI, while it loves to set cards with good defense and piss poor atk, for whatever reason if you have a monster on the field it absolutely REFUSES to set a one-eyed shield dragon
of course this is a fucking pain because then it won't even be able to summon blue eyes thanks to it being afraid of having more than one monster on my side

i've actually lost a few auto-duels thanks to thi nuisance too, what is it about the shield dragon specifically that causes this?

What's a good way to do 300,000 effect damage faster?

The way I'm doing it is slow and very little thought put into it

Some guy figured out the formulas for Lv30 vs Lv40 drop rates, it basically comes down to how well you can farm the Lv40.

If you can get 8k easy every time, then stick with Lv40. If you can only get 3-4k, try and go for 8k with the Lv30 instead.

Yep, I basically have 1 of each deck for every character: PvP, fun, and farm. The pvp decks are the standard meta decks, and the farms are boring. These are the just for fun unique decks I use for each char:

-Relies on Piranha Army + Secret Pass to the Treasures + Rising Energy. Mostly a gimmick, but is fun and has OTK potential. Going to replace this deck with a Magnet Warriors deck if I ever get Valk.

-Pretty standard beatdown deck. 3 Kaibaman, 3 BEWD, and a ton of support like Crystal Seer, Champ's Vigil, e-Con, etc

>Joey - Red Eyes Fusion
-Has Red Eyes, S Skull, Meteor Dragon, Versago, Black Sheep, Thunder Dragon, etc. Main goal is to get B Skull Dragon, M Black Dragon, TTD out, etc

>Mai - Harpies
-Just a standard Harpie deck, with sonic duck and birdface. Her skills don't really allow for much creativity with other kinds of decks IMO.

-Focuses on Guardian Angel Joan and that Cestus card. Basically, whether I destroy a monster or attack directly, I gain a ton of LP.

I've actually built a pretty good Magnet Warrior deck. It's not KoG material, but it is what it is.

Skill: Destiny Draw
1x Valkyrion the Magna Warrior
2x Beta the Magnet Warrior
2x Alpha the Magnet Warrior
2x Gamma the Magnet Warrior
2x Delta the Magnet Warrior
1x Sphere Kuribo
2x Order to Charge
2x Enemy Controller
1x Storm
2x Wild Tornado
1x Windstorm of Etaqua
2x Painful Escape

The main strategies are:

-Skill is Destiny Draw. I chose this because the deck revolves around you losing monsters and Life Points, so you naturally fall into DD range anyway.

-Order to Charge for getting your magnet warriors into the graveyard, and for general monster removal.

-Storm + Wild Tornado to not only clear your opponent's back row, but also either destroy one of their cards, or your own magnet warrior. Works great with Delta to get Valkyrion out.

-Painful Escape to immediately sack a magnet warrior and draw another to your hand

-Valkyrion is pretty much relegated to a final turn shot at their LP. My favorite strategy for a Valk win is something like this:

>Get at least 2 Magnet Warriors (Not Delta) in the Graveyard. It can be Gamma, Alpha, or Beta, and even doubles count.
>Summon Delta, send another Magnet Warrior to graveyard
>Use Storm + Wild Tornado to destroy their back row, then destroy Delta with WT to activate his effect
>Summon Valk, go for the kill.

You can also alternate the strategy depending on their field. If they have a hard to beat monster on the field, you can use e-con instead of Wild Tornado to tribute delta and steal their monster instead. Their stolen monster + valkyrion is pretty much a guaranteed win for you.

Like I said, this deck is not KoG material, but it's fun.

I think the Bakura event (the one like Yugi's) was the most rage inducing. Not only were the reward cards shit, his level 40 deck had some of the most rage inducing cards in this format.

Gravekeeper's Vassal + Secret Pass + High ATK monster + Riryoku + Gift of the Martyr is how I did it. I was able to get 7k-9k per duel with it.
