As far as I know, in all of those scenarios Medb never really does any fighting. Her strength is ranked E and she fights with a riding crop. In lore, she's twice described as "a mighty warrior", and drives back an army 3 times simply out of rage. Commanding isn't exactly the same as fighting. My point was, I can't see Nasu drawing too much on that from what we've seen of Medb so far.
