Leveling up the Strength confidant is boring and tedious, and everybody cheats, but the benefits are too good to pass up

The narrative suffers from the anime thing of always feeling the need to escalate which thematically works until you fight a god. Some epic final boss fight with a god in heaven isn't thematically appropriate with being "Phantom Thieves". Thank god the actual final conflict is much more thematically appropriate and compelling than "EVERYONE RAISE YOUR HANDS TO GIVE THE PHANTOM THIEVES YOUR POWER!!!"

A guide, sure, I can understand that, but most of the shit you need to make is literally "Level up one of the materials to get the skill you need to pass down, then fucking pick it to pass down". I just don't enjoy the combat in SMT games that much, and even with the recommended skills to beat it I couldn't do it after like 50 attempts, so it broke my will to continue the dungeon crawl.

So how soon should I be doing the confusion exploit on Mementos bosses? Going in for the second time on my first playthrough in a sec.

So what are the five VIPs in Shido's palace? They're just cognitive versions that pretty much behave exactly as their IRL counterparts right? They seem to summon Shadows (like right now I'm fighting the Shadow TV President) so does that mean defeating these Shadows will cause them to have a mental shutdown IRL? Or I guess not since immediately after each boss, Shido talks to the corresponding person and would know if something was wrong, right?

Literally just hit Mementos bosses with Confusion. You pick up any money and items they throw away. Put Pulinpa (or Tentarafoo+Confuse Boost) on any Persona with high Luck and then go to town. Then stall until you're sick of this process, kill them, and do it with the next guy.

Combat isn't difficult in this game, and just cutting down EXP/Money does nothing to make it difficult.

So the obvious solution, as much as people would hate it, is to make it harder in other places. Since Social Links are your primary source of power outside of your level, making them harder is the obvious solution.

In hindsight, suggesting the return of Broken Links may not be the best solution, but it's clear they were thinking hard about it going by the in-game files that got dummied out.

They're Shadows fused with cognative existances, implied to be because of Shido knowing so much about the metaverse thanks to the research he was able to force their Shadows into his Palace somehow.

But defeating them just defeats them like any other Shadow boss. In order to cause a shut down you pretty much have to deliberately execute their Shadow after they're already down. It's not something than you can do accidentally.

The Shadows that you fight as palace bosses are strongly connected to their real life counterparts so stealing their treasure changes their heart, while outright killing the Shadows causes them to have a mental shut down

The Shadows you fight as Mementos bosses are just weaker variants where you change their heart without a treasure, you just kinda... do it and this is by subduing or defeating them

And the Shadow VIP members are just how Shido sees them (so basically just cognitive fakes, just like Haru's fiancee and princess Ann), they just happen to be able to summon Shadows and also happen to be nearly exact due to how messed up Shido's palace is, how messed up he is, and how close of an eye he is keeping on them?

2. shadows in mementos are shadow selves of people with desires that are starting to get distorted but aren't bad enough to form an entire palace yet, you still take their treasure to reform them (it's the item you get after beating them)

If you have an active Palace, your in-Party Confidants will eat up days they would normally be available instead asking you why the fuck you haven't cleared the objective. Additionally, a few Confidants don't unlock until a specific Palace is cleared, such as whoever you just added to your party.

My medical knowledge is only a little above-average, but judging by where specifically Ryuji always hits it, it's probably in that really awkard and hard-to-set place on the upper leg. It's not impossible for it to have been a bad set, and even if it was set perfectly there's still a number of other things that could cause permanent issues, like the specific shape of the break, or any muscle/ligament damage, or literally anything happening to cause problems for the cast or the healing process in general. Hell, even a fucked-up diet can make a bone heal badly.
