No, not really. Vaynefraud is the worst kind of fraud. RK rolls are naturally stacked with 5*s and it's very common to see 3 5*s per 11 roll especially when one is guaranteed.
Aileenfag was using tickets, which had no guarantee at all besides the 1 4* ticket, which probably ended up being a garnet. Vaynefraud only pulled a few times so he probably only drew about 55 relics total. Aileenfag spent over 170, three times as much as Vaynefraud did with no guarantees of anything. It's likely he only got 1 5* out of those 170 rolls because of the way BE gacha works.

Honestly, I don't know why I'm going to lengths to explain common sense for a guy I've seen two posts of. Putting anyone on Vaynefag's level is just insulting even if he didn't go 100% in.

It is a must. Her only claim to fame is a single strong attack that massively lowers earth resist. If she's equipped with an earth weapon, the two factors will make it hit for a ton.

The problem? Outside of her TM, the only earth-elemental weapon you can get is the Golem Staff, which provides minuscule attack. Her TM is a 135 attack earth lance, which is everything you need.

If you don't have her TM, she's pretty lackluster.

Wonder what the heck they'll do for FFTA. Marche doesn't really have anything other than Combat, maybe Support because of the Soldier Breaks. Probably gonna have Combat Combo as his BSB.
Ritz could be a Combat/Celerity, but I worry they'll make her a shitty hybrid battlemage because she shows up as a Red Mage and Elementalist at certain points in the game.
Montblanc has Black 5, who knows what else.

They can definitely get creative when it comes to the skillsets on these guys, that is if they're not going to be throwaway shitters that never get a relic outside their introductory event.

Orlandu with OSB: got in his event
Agrias with BSB and SSB1: got the only relevant one in OSBfest
OK with BSB and both SSBs: got 2/3 in his event

Sometimes I replace Tyro with Vaan, I got his OSB in OSBfest and BSB during 2nd anniversary.

If I were to say when I picked up the most stuff that's worth using outside my main team though, it'd be 2nd anniversary for sure.

As far as bosses go, there haven't been many of them that were an issue (that weren't obviously out of my league from where I was in the game anyway). I never got around to fighting Shadow Lord though, I don't have much mage stuff so that could have been an issue.

The fest before last and alphinaud event. No one relic in particular, just a bunch of really good shit all in a short window - Y'shtola BSB, Minfilia BSB, Beatrix BSB, Refia BSB. Went from having no healer burst and relying on dps SSB and one "just okay but not great" dps BSB, to having a support with an actual SB, a healer burst, and multiple dps BSB.

Mote ifrit was the last one I could think of where I just up and say "nope" after a few tries because it was clear I wasn't ready. A number of torments did the same thing (although with those I just couldn't be arsed to learn the gimmick just for an ability I'd never craft/hone anyways). And now its probably torments, I think I could probably do them (I cleared the FFVII one my first try) but I just haven't been motivated to try them, they seem kind of stressful.

2nd Anniversary banners (especially freebie pull on Player's Choice) due to having no relics for OK to only missing his OSB, plus a bunch of other nice things. Prior to that was the special buff banner (before G5*) where I got Shout & SSII.

Infinity Nemesis and AB Necro both were definitely disappointing for the same reasons. I was able to get Affliction Break a month or so after first release, but it wasn't very happy times. Wondering if MP Nem will be much of the same. At the very least for that, the 4* vitality motes are only locked behind the 60 stamina version.
