Crit chance on grinlok is really good for proccing headshot+ crit slash. Pair that with the status duration and the first one is easily better. Mod it with the sequence mod and point strike for high crit chance and use 2 status + damage mods to make corrosive/gas depending on the enemy. I have a +damage +status chance riven that makes the grinlok quite deadly, yours is magnitudes better.

I'm still torn on crit weapons; is it better to go Corrosive+Heat (or whatever elements) or Corrosive+Shred?

One will deal a LOT more damage, but will only be able to kill enemies one at a time, whereas the other can wipe out multiple enemies in one shot, but only when they're lined up.

I just don't know, but I'm leaning towards Corrosive+Heat, since crits are all about multiplying damage, and so more base damage would be better.

Tigris Prime, arguably the Hek/Vaykor Hek, literally every sniper, Soma Prime and every decent assault rifle

Any weapon that focuses on doing a lot of damage to a single target benefits from being able to do a large percentage of that same damage to the enemies behind the thing you're shooting at.

punch through only consistently hits enemies when you are in long hallways. The rest of the time you have to move yourself horizontally to line up shots. Ammo is never a problem for anything but full auto rifles, so you dont have to conserve. All you accomplish is waiting a moment before shooting when you could have just shot twice for higher damage.

Let me rephrase that. Warframe has the worst player retention I have ever seen. Only one third of all players have ever made it to MR 1 (according to steam achievement stats.) A lot of the people in Warbros have fucked off to other games because they just got tired of it. Unless it's another event like Gradivus Warbros' chances of winning are slim to none because even we don't have enough autism to go for 40+ hours just to be on par with clans with dozens of active members. If they made another event like the ones from before we would wipe the floor with everyone.
