don't check if you have the diagrams from the crafting list of a blacksmith, they don't appear if the blacksmith can't craft the item due to lack of the skill. Check from your journal if you have the diagrams

Sometimes the quests don't trigger, the only fix i know of is to reload and try to trigger it again. Luckily, there's plenty of info on where the diagrams are so you can hunt it yourself. The only issue is if you care about the quests going into your completed section

You'll get the most money if you sell armor to armorers, swords to swordsmith, general stuff to general merchants. Crow's Perch is a good place to trade early on.

You just have to be patient. Best way to earn money is to do all the question marks and regularly collect and sell loot. Gradually you will have a fortune, especially on NG+. I'm almost finished with my completionist save and in BaW, after crafting all the Grandmaster gear sets, I have 250k+ remaining and I still have to complete a bunch of question marks in Toussaint.

Viper is a bit stronger than mastercrafted but weaker than grandmaster gear. Yuo can use it if you like the esthetics throughout BaW, you'll be strong enough. Some swords are nice, like the one you get on the tournament in BaW or Aerondight. I usually stick with the Witcher gear though.

The Aen Elle lost their ability to physically travel between worlds. The best they can hope to achieve, according to the lore of the novels, is temporarily manifest a projection of themselves, in the form of wraiths with limited power. That is why they where originally seeking Ciri: to re-acquire the capability they lost by forcing Ciri to bear a child for them and restoring the elder blood into their gene pool.

TW1 complies with this, as the KotWH is a ghost. Halfway through TW2, cdpr retconned everything. Now the Aen Elle have "navigators" who can physically teleport themselves and other elves around. But somehow they still need Ciri because the capability of those navigators are not enough. And they are still vulnerable to silver because... reasons.

A lot of those parallels are pretty vague though, many are just standard tropes in fantasy genre in general. To me DA2 always felt like a ripoff of Mass Effect: voiced protagonist, dialogue wheel, lack of different playable races, changing the slower more tactical combat to over the top arpg combat, no companion armors, dumbed down skills/attributes and such.

I just finished Witcher 1 guys. About the ending.

Can someone explain what just happened? Was Alvin really Jacques? So Alvin traveled forward in time during the Murky Waters incident and realized in the future the Prophecy of Ithlinne comes true and the whole North is frozen over. Alvin ages in this post apocalyptic future and returns sometime in the present, where his hatred of Elves from what happened at Murky Waters combined with what he saw in the future as well as his hero worship of Witchers led him to create his own knightly order to try help Temeria avoid Global cooling? Am I getting this right? Then why is Jacques hair color different from Alvin's?

Although it doesn't matter too terribly much. Getting to rank 10 was enough to leave me feeling content. Will have 28 kegs heading my way after the wipe which seems reasonable since I don't want to grind my ass off for minimal gains. I also learned the important lesson that reveal nilf isn't very strong even though it's fun. Probably should grit my teeth and make a fucking skellige axeman deck next since I've already got a few of the good epics for it.

Yeah, they really need to strengthen the reveal archetype if they want to make it a thing. Even such a small change as making Spotters any-row would probably work since you're less likely to get blown out by a gigni or d-bomb. It doesn't help that Emhyr's power is probably the weakest in the game, the only time it feels impactful is when you've got mangonels out, and even then it's basically just as swingy as Henselt or Radovid using their power on fucking anything even without synergy.

Next deck I'm torn between dwarf squirrels or axeman skellige. For squirrels I've got Hoog and Yarpen, and for skelllige I've got Blueboy, Donar, and Holger. Ultimate pie in the sky deck that looks the most enjoyable is discard queensguard Cerys skellige but I sure as shit can't swing that any time soon.
