+Spd Hector has base 28 Speed. With 3 Goad armors, he reaches a nice 40 Speed. Replace a Goad with Hone armor and he reaches 42 speed. Almost nobody is gonna double on him. In fact, he'll double most of the cast naturally without needing help from Armads.

You know, food for thought in the event that more units with goad armor are released in future. Or you just happen to have a few spare Hectors lying around.

When you get Mia and Marcia they're really weak and fragile compared to the Ike/Boyd/Oscar you've been using for the game thus far and so it's quite understandable that you might consider them bad and bench them. They have potential, though.

Mist faces a similar problem; she seems to be just outclassed by Rhys. Still, though, having multiple healers is more productive than having melee units standing around and looking useless because they'll die if they're put in enemy range, they don't do very much damage, and Ike/Oscar/Boyd/Kieran/Nephenee/Gatrie/Jill are already doing shit. Moreover, Mist pays off very well later on; having a healer on a horse is great, as is her damage once she gets a Sonic Sword, as is her utility in a certain spolierish situation later.

Soren is initially underwhelming, but he does things no one else in your team does initially so you might as well use him. He really helps out with mages and siege tomes and physics in the second half of the game are cool, also.

Use Volke and loot the shit out of the constant Short Spears and Physics enemies have in the second half of the game; those things are very useful.

I don't really need her, Mozu is already ridiculously overlevelled for this chapter because I gave her paragon. I also feel like my army is lagging a bit behind so I could use the extra exp from not steamrolling absolutely everything on enemy phase with Camilla. "Permadeath" is still a poor word choice for those special missions. Healers would definitely see some use in those missions. No she's not she's fucking garbage and using Luna is fucking dumb as fuck, too. ANY FUCKING UNIT WITH 30+ DEF/RES using Bonfire/Iceberg, which has less cooldown, will do better Special damage. If you put Ignis/Glacies on, they're doing 25-30 extra damage for the same CD.

Klein does her specific shit better.
NILES does this shit better, he's got access to Iceberg/Glacies! Niles, using a Brave Bow, can START a match with Iceberg, hit again, receive a hit from the ranged unit, hit again AND END a match with Iceberg, doing an extra +34 goddamned Special damage by being a "speedy Brave Bow" without desperation. With desperation it's still an additional +17 unboosted Res raw special damage.

But hey, gotta justify your Setsuna pull some way, right? I guess that's her best build! Saying she's the best bow or even a good unit is nonsense, though
