I've never used the heavier weapons (Kirk, and Ludwig's) for very long, so I don't remember how susceptible they are to interruption, but I don't think BB really has poise.

I'm currently doing a sorcerer from Lothric. Gonna be using Soul Stream and swinging around the Moonlight sword. I also have a Gotthard's Twinswords character from Drang and I switch between the Drang set and the Faraam set. It's just about making the character look like they'd be from that place, have an appropriate name, and then dress and use appropriate weapons/spells.

Maybe go as far as getting some more dark miracles like Vow of Silence, Dorhy's Gnawing and Lifehunt Scythe? In general, Pyro is a much better class to start because you can respec it into int and faith anytime with spare points and low luck investment.

Even a pure faith build can make use of Lothric Knight Greatsword to great effect. Minimal phys investment with 60 faith sunlight blade and the thing hits like a truck.

A pure faith build needs ring of the suns first born, sage ring, and arguably morne's ring as well if you want to maximize your casting damage. That leaves one ring slot open for prisoner's chain OR havels ring.

But if you do plan on using a heavy weapon you're going to want at least 30 something poise and that means stacking vit into the 20s. 15 + 5 from the chain is a good starting point.
