Got the after the end mod, chose where I live. Turns out we are the only pirates on the mainland (or it seems so). My treasury is a ton, and I've taken over most of florida, got one tribituary. My main issue now is a lack of good commanders and people in my realm and chancellors, plus gavelkind will strike soon and assblast my realm. Such is life.

what you could try doing is triggering an event to all russian allies (that aren't prussia) to set a country flag that, after russia has already called prussia(or whatever allies they kept), re-creates the alliance with russia

Keep troops in provinces until you've completely pillaged it.

The horde unity from development has a cap iirc.
Played in a coop game with three different hordes we ended all with 3000-5000 development.

You can strengthen government during some rough times.
Colonized provinces don't give overextension so those you can keep around without coring them and then razing them when you need horde unity.

As someone who is going to Uni for a Comp Sci degree, yeah, no. My professors take points off for that first example. Why? Because, in a professional environment, readability is very important. If you leave the company, the next person they hire has to be able to read your code.

So, while I agree that functionality is of prime importance, readability and proper spacing is also something that should be practiced. I mean, I find this particular case a bit ironic, considering HPM probably learned by being able to easily read the vanilla files to learn how they worked.

So I'm ruling as an emperor of the sweet ass HRE. I also managed to get the immortal event chain and became immortal. I want to try to start replacing leaders of different cultures with leaders of my culture and get some culture conversion coming for the great Dutch HRE.

Hey, I'm the anon working on that Roman Republic (1849) mod. I've got a thing I want people's opinions on.

Historically, both Tuscany and Sicily (the Island) had revolutions shortly after the Roman Republic was declared. the Tuscan republic even sent delegates to start negotiating to join. Currently, there's an event that pops up for Tuscany shortly after the Roman Republic is declared where;
A. Duke flees and Tuscany becomes a puppet to the Roman Republic (historical)
B. Duke stays and declares war on the Republic to reinstall the Papacy.

As for Sicily, I was contemplating a CB for the RR to support those revolutionaries, gaining them as another puppet. The more important question, though, is how to go about the process of integrating them. Should it simply be a timelocked decision? Perhaps as part of a greater decision to unite the peninsula?

That sounds cool. There should just be conditions you have to meet like any national unification. Rather than a time delay, it would take some time to meet all the prerequisites, which is a more elegant way to delay the player than simply saying "now you have to wait."
