I'm honestly confused about how the loot crates work for returning players. My account was calculated to be level 162, and thus I received 16 Epic Chests and 1 Veteran Chest, which checks out. However, I received also about 40 something Normal Chests.

Weren't you supposed to get one per level which didn't award a Rare or Epic instead? Did I miss something on the patch notes I'm not understanding clearly?

it's not really indicative in any way though

having played him a bit, he certainly seems pretty strong, but he's not without his weaknesses. he kinda sucks at sustain damage and dealing with tanky/CCey/bursty heroes. he excels at picking off low to mid hp heroes. the main reason he seems overpowered is because he dashes from offscreen to kill someone from 30%, then dashes away before anyone can realize anything. in a way, that is broken though. he's basically the only hero that can project that much power at that much range, at that short a cooldown. people aren't used to checking offscreen for threats.

against tanky CC healer comps that deathball together, he's fairly weak imo. obviously you shouldn't pick him against those, though, so it's not a huge weakness

i'm guessing he will get kneejerk nerfed in regards to his swift strike range, then kneejerk nerfed in regards to his burst, then 8 months later his other spells will be buffed and he will become like every other ranged dps

She's a nightmare for squishy mages like Kael'thas. All you can do to mitigate her fuckery is pick up Mana Addict at 1 and finish the quest to give you a shield to help mitigate her burst damage.

If you can get a living bomb on her or catch her with a stun she can be dealt with easily.

Are you capable of understanding the value of armor? He heals for about 80 less on his Q but gives 25 armor, making every point of HP the target has worth more multiplicity against damage.

He can't dish out high numbers (you can if you go the correct build) because he requires timing now, not just spamming spells.

Overall he's better than before and while mana is still an issue, done correctly you shouldn't need mana because targets should die and damage taken will decrease.

Is hanamura a bad map?
It feels bad, it's by far the shortest map, and seems to want you to split your team up too much, and almost always will swing to one teams advantage with no chance to catch up due to the one point advantage being so huge.

It's one of those maps that has so much going on you need to spread your resources properly. In QM, it's a shitshow and people ignore half of the shit in the map that would lengthen games becaise they simply don't fucking know what to do.

You end up with situations where 4 people are guarding you payload while the enemy has camp, is soaking and is capping their payload and that team will snowball as a result, making games artifically shorter.

Over time they will adjust this and people will learn the map, and it will improve.

People used to think the same thing about towers of doom and it's like the perfect map now. Braxis was a shitshow at launch because zerg were overtuned making games last 4 minutes, and Warhead the nukes were undertuned making games last 500 years.

We will see what changes they make.

You play Smash Varian like you'd play Kerrigan. You dive in and let everyone know who needs to die. Also can delete squishes. Smash Varian can't tank though, so it helps to have one or more on the team because you cannot fill that role.
