Contrary to what people like to claim, there is actually some attempt at matchmaking in casual. I'm guessing it's an entirely seperate MMR from ranked, which is retarded because what ends up happening is people who play ranked the most will also get dumped against the newest players in casual.

If you keep winning casual games, and are decent at ranked, you will slowly get put against better and better players to the point you'll wait 34 minutes to find a goddamn casual game against a diamond or plat stack.

If there was some sort of non-bulletproof grate that could stop drones but allow sight and shooting, then I wouldn't be 100% against the idea, but I still think his main two issues are Fuze and Glaz. Keeping either of them from being able to pierce his panels with their abilities/weapons would make him less of a liability, and keep the enemy team from gaining as much of an advantage from his shit.
On top of that, if Sledge took two hits of his hammer to break his panels, and Ash's charges took a little longer to drill into his panels before detonating (and were a little louder while drilling, in the form of a grinding sound or something.) then he'd be in a great spot.

The Graphics in Siege are really weird sometimes, FXAA isn't a very taxing AA but it really doesn't do a whole lot with lower resolutions so you will get a sharp image but also a lot of ugly edges.
AA in some games can result in very diffused visuals, FXAA is really good if you have 1440p resolution and downscale it to 1080p.

I have this legit problem where I can look in a direction and I know that the area I am looking at has an enemy within it, but I never notice them. They could be right in front of my sight yet for some reason, they just blend in with their surroundings for me and it ends up with me dying like a retard.

Play hours and hours of terrorist hunt lone wolf. Seriously. It's 23 guys versus you. Put it on hostage and disable every map except the one you want to practice on. Hostage is the fastest to complete.

It will help you notice people shapes against the maps clutter shapes.

I'm not even kidding.

As an added bonus, running hostage terrorist hunt is probably the fastest way to get renown in the game. You get 150 for 3 minutes of work (7 minutes MAX). Compare that to winning a casual match (250 renown, 20 minutes) or ranked (400 renown, 30 minutes).

It really does help you learn the maps, practice your headshot speed, and as a byproduct recognize guys in front of you.

Not him but I think enemies dont spawn around the map to flank you like TH Classic and Bomb? I play classic cause I dont like having to deal with rescuing the hostage with a pistol. About your question, I would say for you to look into increasing your brightness/constrast/color on your monitor/game or by using something like Sweet FX to accentuate those.

The most important part is it's the quickest (and easiest to cheese just grab the hostage and go on the roof of any map, the AI can't get up there and will go wait for you at the extraction zone).

Terrorist hunt doesn't really teach you where shit is. If you go into a round of bomb or hostage and already know the spots, then you're already winning. You know where you can go to flank them instead of just "OK THE OBJECTIVE IS HERE TIME TO TAKE THE DIRECT PATH THAT THEY'LL EXPECT".

Bomb (defuse) is OK but it has twice as many enemies and takes 15-20 minutes to complete because you have to defuse both bombs, and starting the timer spawns scripted waves of enemies. It's not time efficient at all. It DOES teach you bomb locations and that's good and all, but honestly for the time spent it's poor. Plus it's sending waves of enemies at you and that isn't really training your recognition skills. It's obvious as fuck the screaming dudes coming in the door are there.

Hostage (Defend) is straight up cancer and retardedly hard to complete, and takes a long time. I wouldn't recommend it.

The game needs time to understand your rank, so the first 10 matches will be basically random, then you will be dropped in a rank that most likely won't reflect your skill level and after a few more matches you will get into a rank you will be more comfortable with.
I'd say it needs at least 30 or 40 matches before you can start enjoying it. If you can endure that, then you will find ranked a lot more enjoyable than casual.

Of course you will find 5 stacks sometimes or stupid level zeros who get in ranked by invite and will ruin your experience, but if you hate the randomness of casual, then ranked will be a lot better after the initial phase

There is a pool of maps available, I don't remember which ones, but plane and house are not in the pool, for example.
