I got my second good 5 star at the start after I already spent a bunch of story orbs, only problem was it was another red. Still managed to do every challenge as they came short of one of the early armor meme challenges due to lack of competent armors(I'm still lacking in competent ones, but at least now I have enough to complete the damn challenges).

Both are pretty close to obsolete on my teams now due to the advent of cavmemes, so I've been focusing on flier memes and trying to raise a bunch of dragons, unfortunately all my Nowis have shit for IVs so I'm probably gonna have to rank up a +Def Corrin for tanking/debuffing instead.

Ideally you want to get a bunch of 5*s early so you can use them as placeholders for arena shenanigans and GHBs until you can raise some leftovers with good IVs to use instead and get them some worthwhile skills. If you manage to get a starting roll with a bunch of rares with good IVs, then you can consider yourself a member of the luckshitter club.

It's not out in English, nor do any of the pirates have access to the DLC to fuck around with, so the only new shit to talk about from the game is the dungeons and cutscenes, and there's not really a lot to say about either. The new mechanics are intuitive enough to anyone who actually plays the thing, and there's some interesting stuff there, but not anything complicated enough to warrant prolonged conversations about them.

The worst part is, the "empty field" maps are the good ones, you'll be wishing for more of those after going through all the heavily fortified bullshit requiring all non-fliers to slip around the back while being pelted by archers just to get in and kill the summoner spawning endless assholes.

As for how I deal with those, I usually just use my lone archer to take on all the other archers one on one while the healer on my side summons a bunch of shit herself to use as a distraction. Eventually either the archer or the summons end up killing enough ranged threats so the rest of my units can get in and clean up.

At least in open fields I can use armors and tanky cavs in conjunction with the summons to get more people in the action safely.

Incredibly. It's a gacha game, so there's a massive difference between 4* and 5*. The fact that you didn't start with at least two 5*s means you should reroll.

And a free protip: Don't merge your units unless they're 5*, and even then reconsider. Merging is only smart if you're a whale.
