Light, Light, Heavy - A double jab into a quick pommel bash to the head, causes stun.
Light, Heavy - An opening jab into a much more deliberate thrust.
Back + Light (Infinite) - move backward while doing a series of small jabs to make some space.

Full block bound to the "C" key is removed in favor of a new mechanic, Advancing Guard.
Allows Conqueror to hold his guard in a direction while attacking from other directions, cancels with use of a heavy attack or a dash. To let him utilize this well, he now has stronger light attacks (9 to 12), and they can be used while walking. Shield bash now combines two mechanics. Back + Guardbreak initiates a full block stance if held, a light bash if pressed and not held, or a heavy bash when charged and released.

Deflects are now primarily a debuffing tool, light attacks are weaker. Peacekeeper should have limited offensive options unelss you gets a deflect to make her more in tune as a counter-attacker. Her deflect, instead of doing one and a half bars of poison damage, will now slightly disorient the screen (different than stun) and reduce your movement speed for a couple seconds. Along with a nerf to her lights and a buff to her heavies, this will put her more in line as a counter-attacker that has to play it safe, since mashing lights is still a very favorable option, especially in 4v4 modes with max defense gear and Thick Skin.

Overall, just rollback the newest patch. It makes him into a completely different character. Keep the stun on light riposte and the guaranteed heavy on Long Arm, but gut everything else that was given to him.

I would prefer them to just remove shove on block and instead make it his own unique cgb and the long arm changes.

Never seen this amount of butthurt over losing to Orochi before, typically one shitter complains because they are getting stomped by a noobstomper (but SURELY that can't be their fault). The zone animation does give you enough time to block right, and don't say it's impossible to look at the animation as well as the guard indicator, you know why you can ignore that? Because no good orochi throws out random side lights. Keep guard at up and switch to left if he so much as twitches, if you can't cgb you deserve to get hit every time, just practise that shit. Orochi has more flaws than assets, his top heavy is OP but you should never be getting hit by it, his top lights are so good that you can just keep your top guard up and neuter him and zone IS reactable how can you still be falling for the indicator glitch? You KNOW he's not going for a side right from your left, and everything else in his kit is 100% asking to get parried. Yes there are annoying and toxic orochi mains because he's the Shadow the Hedgehog of for honor, but guess what? That has nothing to do with the mechanical design of his character, he's EASY to beat. Every time I see orochi on matchup I smile because I know exactly what the shitter is going to try every time, I don't even have to outplay them just react and I beat them, can't do that every time with the top 5 or turtles though, but noooo, it's orochi that needs the nerf.
Orochi needs changed but not because he's too good, he's bad, but not for that reason either. 90% of his moveset is unusable and this is the only real problem with orochi. BORING.
If you can't beat orochi then what you are saying is 3 moves are enough to beat you, gb, top light and zone. If you can't beat a player who only has three moves then you're shit.

If you just got parried, or are in the middle of a dodge, or just tried to guard break the air because you were too far away, you can't counter a guardbreak, if you're pressing square and not gb'ing, then you were either interrupted by an enemy attack or guardbreak, or you're trying to use it when you're in the middle of another action, like the ending frames of your attack, a dodge, or you've just been hit by something and are staggered. Finally, if you're button spamming, stop, it creates a queue of actions briefly that ends up making the character not do what you want, never press something you're trying twice. You just need to know these things.
