Boy oh boy, if you have any idea how many hours I spent on Thanatos in P3, you wouldn't be saying that.

I am saying that it is equal to the old games in this regard, only that it is the same in that it imposes artificial frustration and rewards autistic persistence. And any argument against random inheritance in fusion also applies to this sacrificial method.

It's not like you have to be a perfectionist in the old games either. My first time playing P3 I just fused whatever basically and still had personas strong enough to beat the game. It is just silly to still have this even system in place even now after they have tacitly acknowledged it's bad game design.

What are your guys tips for getting through the dungeons in one day? I'm on my second playthrough (not NG+ cause my first playthrough I did safe mode to get through the story) and the guide I'm following for Max Confidants is telling me I have to get through the dungeons in one day.

I bought a bunch of those sodas that replenish SP but my playstyle uses a lot of magic and I'm right at Kamoshida's tower and have 0 sp on every character.

OST was kind of mediocre. My only real gripe with P5, and one of the few things I believe P3 and P4 did better. I did enjoy beneath the mask, life will change, and whims of fate, but it didn't really have any standout tracks that stick with you. Mist, heaven from P4, memories of the city and battle for everyone's souls from P3 for instance.

That said, the OST was much more low-key and at least didn't have any songs that would start to annoy you after listening to them for the 1284728 time.
