They should make Stormblood FATEs tie into spawning a zone boss and have that zone boss reward stuff on par with S ranks. In this case people can switch to lower level jobs to level and then switch to their main to fight a world boss and get decent rewards for it. I think that would be good.

Holy shit, you must've played Order. I was Dark Elf, there was one area in Eataine that I could not get ANYONE to help me with, major factor in how I approach people for aid now (fuck the selfish). There was a Tier 2 one in a High Elf city that required you secure and conquer it. The boss had some skill that did more damage the longer the fight went on, but he performed the attack's damage I think based on his health. No one on the forum knew how to complete it and everyone just skipped it. Wish I could remember something as epic-sounding as what you had, but I'm sure I would have seen it eventually since I was leveling a badass-looking Witchhunter. Still can't cope with his loss over the Crystal Braves, Alphinaud goes on a power struggle. He tries to gain political control over the 3 capital cities of Eorzea, with the help of the Warrior of Light and the Scions.

Until one day, the Warrior of Light decides he wants to leave the Scions and chase his own dreams. Alphinaud is crushed by this because the Warrior of Light is the main reason Alphinaud and the Scions got to where they were. Alphinaud challenged the WoL to a duel, if the WoL he belongs to Alphinaud.

Alphinaud is defeated, his hopes and dreams of owning a kingdom collapses because he cannot do that without the Warrior of Light.

The emotional wreck he is, Alphinaud decides to sneak into Nanamo's room and fuck her. A maid finds out and tells Raubahn, who orders his army to capture Alphinaud and hunt down the Scions.

A year passes, the Warrior of Light stumbles up the Scions being ambushed by Raubahn's men. He fights them off and saves the Scions. Y'shtola tells him about what happened to Alphinaud and they plan to rescue him.

The Warrior of Light and the Scions finally reach Alphinaud's cell. What they find is truly horrific. A beaten Alphinaud, with his tendons cut and his tongue cut out. A shell of a man. They take him and flee from the cell, but fight through Raubahn's men.

They manage to flee on horseback and on a green hill. The Scions, battered and bruised, try to come up with options on whether they want to stay together and where to go.

Suddenly, the cart that was holding Alphinaud bolsters off. The Scions chase after him on horseback. Alphinaud's cart wrecks into a lake and Alphinaud flies out, he is pierced by a tree branch sticking out of the lake.

Mysteriously, out of nowhere, one of Nidhogg's eyes float next to Alphinaud.

That's kind of the main problem I have. I've got armor crush but outside of that the abilities I've been getting seem really underwhelming; two of the three abilities I've got past 50 are just about managing threat (which I've actually been trying to find a reason to use but I've yet to find any tanks that struggle with it so far). Other than that I actually really like a lot of the ability/playstyle of the class except for two main things that are unfortunately pretty much just the way things go:

By the time I have all of my abilities up and applied, I get maybe one aeolian edge off before something needs refreshing. I get this means that it probably has strong and consistent dps if played correctly, but there's little room for error or mistakes - a bad thing to have when I want to focus on learning these fights that I've not done before

Funnily enough it popped the instant I posted that message.It was a really damn easy primal compared to the other ones I've done, and thankfully I didn't die.

I'm still scared of doing fights/dungeons I don't know the fights in front of people that aren't complete randoms though.
