The final phase is 30m health. It's not a lot but if your MPA is full of people using leecher tier gear, playing their subs for exp and 1/3 the MPA is on the ground at all times, you can't carry it solo. I've done 13m on the final phase and still failed, though this was outside expert blocks because I missed the top of the hour.

It's a perfect storm sort of thing. There was a video posted yesterday of someone who wasn't even breaking 4 digits in their numbers, the most damage they did with a single PA was like 18k. If half of your MPA is that bad, you can't beat the dps race. The final phase has too much health to solo. It's not the norm for runs to fail but if you've had one or two, it's probably not your fault.

Not to mention it's a flat out Gunner main nerf as it basically removes infinite fire 0 from the game, something that was a core piece of their stationary chain damage combo. The entire point of playing Fo/Gu is to sacrifice utility and mobbing for extremely strong bossing via chain Ilbarta. The damage cap nerfs them back to how strong they were nearly 2 years ago. This is the most extreme example, there are other niche (usually bossing/solo) builds that are severely impacted by having a damage cap. This is why I would prefer if they just fix the problem, which is literally just Maron, instead of taking the approach that nerfs three class combos I enjoy using that don't include Su. There's absolutely no reason to nerf builds like that when classes like Fighters with regular all around builds can still clear things faster.

If for some reason they moved the 999,999 damage cap to all content, Summoner would still be fine. The fastest Su run is around 4 minutes, that's how broken Maron is. Meanwhile, of the two niche builds I play who break the cap; One is already slower than the all around meta build that doesn't need to make sacrifices and the other struggles to break 7:30 while the fastest non-Su classes hover around 5:50-6:10. There's also Gu main class who can break 1m and I can name at least four classes that do solo PD faster. There is a reason they mentioned the damage cap for Deus Esca while talking about Maron, it's because they solely think Maron is the problem. They stated it would be a temporary measure until they get around to nerfing Maron in ep5.

The reason Maron is so broken besides the insane dps for minimal setup is that it does all the damage in one single strike. This is why Maron could push you through multiple Mother phases at once while other classes couldn't. Not really. Zeinesis is +120hp/+4PP/+15atk. Qliphad is just +35atk. The defensive stats are higher than Union/Astra. Zeinesis is an ok replacement for Izane if you can't get your hands on them but Izane is still hands down better.

The time limit is already 30 minutes. The most runs people would be able to take would be 2-3.

a) depends on what ship you're on
b) depends on how often you die
c) depends on what class you play and if you have automate or not
d) depends on how much of a shitter you are (how well you play)

Mostly b c and d, since not dying will be critical, having automate will basically be mandatory if you aren't a hunter/fighter/braver main (and those can go without it if they're good, I am not good so i have it), and what class you are is likely to have an effect on your likelyhood of being invited by someone.

I never experienced pre nerf exist burst so I can't compare, but I did some pretty great ones during boost week and got all my class's to 80 expect ra, was getting 10m+ exp some runs and felt faster than anything else besides doing the really good exp eqs. Doing it now without boost week wouldn't as good of course and I'm sure most people are done leveling so yeah.I'd probably still do some to get ra from 76 to 80 though.

Mine dropped at a cap of 32, element is currently 51. So I only need a few more if you factor in the +2 element grinders from PVP points. So its almost a hundred attack more + 8% total damage just losing a bit of element points, that should out weigh +32 60 element astra shouldnt it?

Sure, you get 5 class excubes when you level up at 80, but I don't think this is going to be an achievable goal for regular players, and anybody determined enough to get a +35 weapon would get it quicker from just farming the actual weapon duplicates.
