Warrior is the class that benefits the most from Engineering. Knowing that, you would be an idiot to not pick Engineering and boost it with your 60 gold.

Never, NEVER go blacksmithing. It is a fucking chore to train, especially while leveling, and has almost nothing worth making even at 60.

Either go herblism/alch so you have potions to rely on, or go mining/engi to have grenades.

Don't even go herbalism/skinning/mining for money either, having potions and nades will be infinitely more helpful than slightly more cash.

More than half of my friendlist haven't been online for weeks now. Everybody is quitting or rerolling to Hellfire.
I know why Blizzard is letting this server up - It's basically a f2p WoW, a bait to make you resubscribe to retail, because there's nothing to do at 60.
You either start alts, or AFK at bridge.
I have 5 characters around ~50, and 2 60's.
Leveling is boring too now, and generally I enjoy that more than raiding.

Blizzard has won. I'm really considering to renew my subscription. Haven't played on retail since 5.1 anyways.

eh no? I bind my spam key to mouse3/4/5/6 so I don't have to move one of the fingers I use for movements off them to use the skill. When it's bound to 2 you usually move your finger off "W" when you press it - meaning you can't run forward while using the skill without doing the jump trick.

I want to say I agree with it. DPS should treat dungeon encounters as an enterprise more complex than "do as much damage as fast as possible" sort of thing. That mentality causes way too many groups/raids too wipe. Equally important is trying to keep your aggro/threat below that of the tank.

Levelling a warrior now has given me renewed appreciation for that. NOBODY uses KTM while levelling which is annoying as hell, but at the very least DPS classes could try to at least be aware of what's going on so the tank doesn't have to go running around to get aggro back on themselves again.

its a huge amount of damage considering the things you do for a 10ap upgrade piece of armor. Its basically a 5-10% damage boost, compared to a equally geared sword non-human.

Of course things like maladeath, or going daggers with muggers belt/ACLG can offset this for non-human races. It's not the be all and end all of good dps, but don't kid yourself into thinking that its a small thing.

The issue with nelves is all the other races have either a good pve racial, or a good pvp racial, nelves have neither.

10% bonus strength and int are the backbone.
The talent build is fairly obvious. Just spec into holy for whatever increases your solo potential. After getting everything good out of the holy tree, the remaining points can go into either ret or prot based on preference. (I prefer ret for solo leveling or pvp because of movespeed and sealcosts / prot for pve healing or aoe pve-goldfarming)

I wasn't very geared but nobody in my guild could take me 1v1 when I was Holy/Ret. Rets, arms, furies, didn't matter. My friend quit playing his mage entirely because he couldn't beat me in a duel. You'll be getting your shit stomped a lot, but after a few good items at 60 it'll take a minimum of 2 people to take you down.

Protip: Do not forget to change your aura every time you fight a new target. Fire or ice for mages, shadow for warlocks and priests, etc.
Have downranked heals on your bar because +heal affects them, which means they're almost entirely better than their higher mana counterparts, especially since you're more likely to crit by casting more spells.
If a rogue is going ape on you and you're trying to heal, turn your back to him. In most situations, you're more likely to survive the backstab damage than the burst that comes from you being interrupted and him taking that opportunity to regain energy and dump it on you.

You know this was one of the reasons why I mained a Paladin for a long time. It wasn't until I realized dueling doesn't get you gear and no one wants a Ret in a premaid or a raid to get the best gear I gave up.

For a pvp build I can see no consecrate but spiritual focus is pretty damn great. A holy pally leveling build you should aoe grind as much as possible, use seal of the crusader to maximize mana regen time while fighting and use a thorns aura. Using a 2 hander is recommended from about as soon as you get verigan's fist onward.

But every raid wants at least one holy, which is the build. Holy is better than ret at ret's job. I healed in raids/dungeons and slayed in premades. It's easier to guarantee the success of a raid if you're directly responsible for keeping the tank alive.

If I wasn't the raid-leader, I'd make sure to have an understanding with whoever is raid-leading. Not to roll on non-role gear, but that I'd take whatever appeals to my solo build if nobody else needed it. Only three runs through ZG and I had a Zin'rokh, which tided me over for awhile.

I didn't enjoy raiding very much. It was just a means to an end. Whatever I could do to be more powerful in pvp, I'd do.
